My recent visit to Bertucci's Italian Restaurant in Chelmsford, MA, was nothing short of exceptional, meriting a well-deserved five-star review. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for what was to be a memorable dining experience. The warmth and charm of the place were immediately inviting, but it was the impeccable service and culinary delights that truly set this visit apart. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Wendy, our hostess for the evening. Her welcoming smile and attentive manner made us feel right at home. Wendy ensured our seating was to our liking and that we were comfortable, setting a positive tone for the evening. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Burrata dish, masterfully prepared by Chef Zach. This dish was a testament to the culinary prowess that resides in the kitchen of Bertucci's. The chicken was cooked to perfection - tender on the inside with a beautifully golden exterior. But what truly elevated this dish was the combination of fresh, creamy burrata cheese and the vibrant flavors of the fresh pasta sauce. The balance of savory chicken with the acidity of the fresh tomatoes and balanced tone with rich burrata was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. It was clear that Chef Zach not only has a deep understanding of Italian cuisine but also possesses the creativity to present classic ingredients in an innovative and delightful way. Throughout our meal, Wendy continued to impress us with her professionalism and genuine care. She checked in on us regularly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her impeccable knowledge of the menu and it's offerings are duly noted. Bertucci's commitment to quality was evident in every aspect of our visit. From the fresh ingredients used in our dishes to the attentive service provided by Wendy and the culinary artistry of Chef Zach, it's clear that this restaurant prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining experience. Bertucci's in Chelmsford, MA, is not just a restaurant; it's a destination for those who appreciate the art of Italian cooking and the joy of a meal shared with friends and family. In conclusion, my experience at Bertucci's was truly five-star. I left with a full stomach, a happy heart, and the certainty that I would return. For anyone looking for an Italian-inspired culinary adventure, look no further than Bertucci's in Chelmsford, MA. Here, under the watchful eyes of Wendy and Chef Zach, you're in for a treat that will linger in your memory long after your...
Read moreThis was my first time dining it at this location, we arrived party of 4 and it wasn't at all busy counted 12 people in the restaurant eating across 5 tables, we were told they had to clean a table and it would be about 10 minutes no problem we waited, and were seated. Our waitress didn't have a name tag or tell us her name looking back I can see why because they don't want to be complained about on reviews or to management, she was the worst waitress I have ever had, we asked a question about a starter and were told to " look at the menu and make a decision for ourselves"? Ok thanks we had to ask for rolls and she brought out 3 in a basket they were warm but kind of tough we asked for other ones because these were un edible to us and she said " they were baking fresh ones" and never brought them out. The Pizza was mediocre and we didn't go with a starter because she couldn't answer any questions about it so glad I didn't pay the $18 for it probably would have been disappointed with it, we saw her 2 x once for drinks and then she didn't come out until the food was ready we politely asked " if we could all have refills" and she said "when I get a minute I'am busy"! Basically the food is mediocre at best and the service is horrible, I went through the reviews on here there are way more bad reviews than good reviews and Bertucci's knows that this location is horrendous they will just reply to this review with please contact an phone or email address with your receipt number and offer a gift card for $25 to hopefully lure you into the place again to spend $60 and get mediocre food and bad service again. Corporate management needs to come in and get to the bottom of why this location has such bad service and start enforcing company standards because this is a joke I have been in High School trade schools that run a school restaurant that had better service and food than this Bertucci's location. I will never come back to this location under any circumstances my advice to anyone is don't waste your time or money here. TLDR food is mediocre and service is horrible and corporate Bertucci's doesn't care look at all the bad reviews place...
Read moreI typically enjoy Bertucci's a great deal, but this experience has really turned me off. My boyfriend and I happened to be in the area and we figured we'd give this location a shot. It appeared as though the kitchen was frantically ill-equipped to deal with the high volume of orders. The waitstaff were running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
Our waitress was very nice and appologetic, but we waited over a half an hour for rolls. I couldn't help but notice that a middle-aged couple seated after us were given rolls before us. My boyfriend and I look a lot younger than we are and I feel as though we were not treated as importantly because of this. When she finally brought the rolls over she appologized and said that the take-out orders were constantly requesting more rolls, so there was never much left for the in-house customers. I feel as though they were prioritizing the to-go orders over in-house. Had I known that, we would have just done that.
When we finally got our pizza we were met with more excuses about how "everyone has been ordering pizza." I have never had this issue at any other Bertucci's. The pizza was floppy and literally just cooked through. No crispy crust like I'm accustomed to. They seemed to have rushed it out as quickly as possible.
My boyfriend ordered the warm cookie Sundae for dessert and that was stone cold. The apathy in creating this food was so disappointing. Furthermore, after all of these let-downs we weren't comped in any way. For $20 a pie, I don't think I'd...
