Chelsea Bakery — Restaurant in Chelsea

Their donuts are great and coffee is just about average. They should not load the coffee with a disgusting amount of cream!! The reason I give it 2 stars is because the owners (especially the Asian lady) behind the counter need to learn a thing or two about customer service. They are so hungry for your dollars that you have barely finished placing your order and they want to hurriedly snatch the card/cash out of your hands and then before you've even done signing your receipt and taking your stuff away they are already on to the next and the next customer. It is kind of disgusting to see such opportunistic and lacking customer service where they just care about your dollars and they literally grab it out of your hands. And once you are done with the transaction their give a S factor goes to 0. I don't come here very often for health reasons, but look forward to treating myself once in a while. Since I am not a regular, I don't know what their typical prices and deals are for bulk purchases. The woman behind the counter this morning was pretty rude to me when I asked questions about this. There was a lot of attitude and some aggressive tone in her demeanor. Even though I was the only customer in the store, she was hurrying me through the process, which only added insult to injury.

Word of advice: when a customer asks questions (especially if they are not a regular) maybe exercise a little patience and implement some basic customer service? Everything I have gotten here has been heavenly. Doughnuts are so delicious but what really brings me back are the soft pretzels. If I lived in walking distance I would be 700 pounds!
