Los Tres Amigos Chelsea — Restaurant in Chelsea

In the past, I have had nothing but good food and good service, but this past Friday was the worst.

My girlfriend and I went to dinner on night. We immediately were seated by an extremely nice hostess and told our waitress would be with us soon. However we sat for 15 minutes before we were greater by our waitress (they were not busy, not crowded or anything).

My girlfriend and I wanted to get some drinks with our meal, and we are 22 (younger looking) but the waitress was sarcastic and reluctant to even give us a drink menu. She wouldn’t let us see it until we showed her IDs. After that was over, we looked over everything and decided what to order. I ordered my drink and they were out of melon liqueur due to the supply chain issues. That’s common everywhere and no problem!! But, I ordered three more drinks before I had to give up hope since they didn’t have pineapple juice or anything for drinks. Instead our waitress suggested a drink with jaegar… I don’t know why since that is the complete opposite of what I was going for with the first three drinks.

Then, we finally got our chips, but weren’t given any bowls or anything to actually eat out of. When we asked our waitress we didn’t get bowls for another 5-10 minutes.

The food was good, and I wouldn’t be against getting it again, just the service…

When we were done eating sort of (we were still eating and had a togo order placed) our waitress came to the table and told us we could pay right now electronically. We hadn’t even received our other order, or the extra chips that never came. And when I asked for a paper receipt she acted snark and annoyed.

Eventually while we were still finishing up eating and had some of our drinks left she came to our table and wanted to take our waters and clear our table.

It wasn’t for another 20 minutes I got up and had to ask for our togo order that she had forgot to get for us.

Once we had our food and I was ready to pay, our waitress was standing over me and the card reader as I paid and selected a tip. Not a great feeling, and I regret selecting as generous of a...

I would give this place atleast a three star for food quality but when you come into a resturant with your family and order off menu with one price and get your bill and its a different price . Only to be told prices changed in April of 2022 but the menus have not been updated , sign on wall says nothing about April 2022 so customer could think April that is coming up . I was told that resturant writes in menu with black magic Marker and we got menus that had been cleaned .....ok right . I have been in the food industry for 33 years as a chef and this practice as a buisness is absolutely ridiculous. I went to this resturant on a regular basis as I am Townie and live within walking distance . I will not step foot in that place unless the owner would like to make it right . I felt the Manager /waitress was rude and condescending and this type of place does not belong in our town . I will be taking my buisness for Mexican cuisin to the new resturant coming to Saline / or food truck at the amazing ugly dog distillery.

Update : what a joke of an establishment. No responce ....nothing . I will now tell everyone I know that they should not spend money at this place . Do Better los tres owner smh

I have to uodate my review for this establishment, I did not go for 8 months and finally decided to go back and give another shot . I must say my experience was so good ...The young lady who was our waitress was awesome , the menu's have been updated and new items added , the chips warm and the food was warm and delicious. I am very impressed with the turn around and am excited to try...

I will start this review by saying I have been to this establishment about 5 times. The food is decent, probably a 3 out of 5. 5 being the most amazing food ever... So 3 being average.

Every time I have been here, it has been with my wife, generally dressed in nicer clothing, long sleeves.

Tonight, before I made my hour commute from work back home to Chelsea, I called ahead to double check the closing time. The friendly voice told me 10pm. I arrived at 8pm. "table for 1 please" the hostess grabbed a menu, and started to walk me to a table. A gentlemen came out from behind the bar, and made a strange hand gestures, similar to a baseball umpire. He told her "no!" - and she then said to me "I guess we are not seating anyone right now"

Tonight, I was wearing under armour basketball shorts, and a tank top. (embroidered edges with a pocket) I am clean, wearing nice shoes, a fancy watch, and freshly sprayed cologne. I am also 5ft 11, tattooed, have a beard (well manicured every 7 days by a barber) and weigh 230lbs mostly lean mass. (I body build)

Tonight, I was profiled, and refused a table. This is upsetting to me. I left, went next door to Smokehouse 52, where I was greated with a smile, and promptly sat down, and ate the best pork chops I've ever had in my 32 years of life.

I will never visit Los Tres Amigos again. If you check my review history, I travel often and make it a point to leave POSITIVE reviews every where I go. This business is new to our city. I wish them no ill will, but I sincerely hope they see this review, and learn from...
