I love the company wawa. This review is not for the company it is for the young girl who is working at this location here 82 limekiln pike in Glenside Pa. The young girl did not have a name tag on her she did not want to give her name so all I can do is give you a description. She has like penny color hair curly like shape like a mushroom. She wears glasses. To my knowledge she is probably African American. So I asked her if the store sold the cheese dip to the pretzel. She looked at the workers around her and started laughing as if I was crazy and said no one ever asked me if they sold any cheese here. I said I’m not just asking for cheese, I’m asking for the cheese dip for the pretzel. She said no we don’t sell that here. So I said ok I will look for myself. I went and saw they did have the cheese dip to the pretzel and I showed it to her and said “here it is right here, the cheese dip to the pretzel.” She saw that I was a little upset because not only she laughed at me, she told me they didn’t have it also. Then she said “it is not that serious.” This is where she went wrong. She should’ve left it as that, all I said was “here it is right here the cheese dip to the pretzel” Now for her to say it is not that serious to a customer who is already upset for her laughing and giving wrong information, she should have came correct and apologize for saying they didn’t have it when they did have it. She kept on trying to tell me about myself as if she was not the one who was wrong and kept on talking back to me. I kept telling her I am a customer, and I deserve some respect. I am leaving this review because I felt a lot of pressure here at the store. She gave me the impression as if I was wrong for asking if they sold cheese dip. This young girl needs more training please. For the sake of elders. Or maybe hire more older and mature people. My blood pressure was rising and I felt really uncomfortable, and I’m sure my son felt uncomfortable also. The other young workers at the store look like they were vouching for her. There were no adults. Every one working there was like 20 or younger. There was no security whatsoever. I felt attacked in a way. I ask to speak with the mananger and the mananger was also really young. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience she just said the girl didn’t know. Read moreTheres a better Wawa up the street so I try to avoid this ratchet location. I cant complain about the staff too much other than the fact that it's slowwww moving. If you're in a hurry, you may want to not take a chance. You will be late to whatever you are trying to get to. That being said, if you hang out here long enough you'll see some stuff. Here's a couple things that I've experienced at this location. Fight in the parking lot (2 times) Robbery (The culprit was running out the door with a box of Newports.. im not talking a carton of cigs.. a box of cartons of cigs. I held the door for him not knowing. He thanked me though.. more than I can say for a lot of other people) What I can only describe as a furry convention. Lots of people dressed in animal costumes. I don't know why. A ridiculously drunk guy trying to buy single cigarettes in the parking lot. Read moreI bought a large soup from this store and it made me so sick. It was sour to the taste. I did eat about 2 to 3 spoonful of it till I decided not to eat anymore of it. Ended up throwing up etc…… so I take it back to the store today to let the manager know and his attitude was like I was bothering him. He never said hello / Hi/ are u ok or anything complete silence. Walked to the register and handed me the $ back. This guy never asked did I want another soup or did I want my $ back. Just complete silence and handed me the money!!!! WaWa has lost a long term customer because of this so called “ Manager’s” nasty customer service practices. I guess I wasn’t the rite color to get some respectful Conversation.
