Poor customer service. Went through the drive through to get something for dinner after working a 12hr shift. Been up since 2am so I didn't want to cook today. I ordered a burger with onion rings and a soda, popcorn chicken, 4 tartar, and 2 ranch. Had to remind the woman at the window twice for the sauce, and once for the drink before I left. All the while shes having a casual conversation with the line cook. Totally not focused on the task at hand. I did a small glance in the bag before I left, and it seemed really full, and like everything was there, but I should have looked harder. When I got home the popcorn chicken wasn't in the bag. No big deal mistakes happen. I called and I could immediately tell the woman on the other end was gonna be short with me. I politely asked for a refund to my card to which she replied "I dont know how to do that!" I asked if she can get me in touch with a manager, or someone who knows, she replied "no! There is literally 2 of us working and we're not allowed to take breaks." She said it with such attitude and rudeness I could see the conversation wasn't going to progress from there so I hung up. No offer to a solution to the problem, no refund, no manager to work it out with, i live 20min away so im not driving back there tonight. They just charge you $12 extra and make it your problem that they're bad at their jobs. Every time I try zips it's always something! Read moreZips was pretty good when I first moved here about two years ago. But, now, not so much. I don't go to Zips since it is more expensive, which I understand with inflation and whatnot. The few times I've gone in recent months, though, it's been going down hill. Ordering isn't very easy since, apparently, repeating myself multiple times yielded several different menu items which weren't what I was asking for. I'm a very patient person. I don't get upset with messed up food. But, I also don't like feeling that what I'm asking for can be dismissed. This establishment has a high turn over rate for employees, at least, it seems this way. This drive thru experience tonight has to be the last thing that I'm willing to put up with. I ordered 2 double cheese burgers no ketchup, 1 double cheeseburger combo, and 1 double burger combo. I had to repeat myself several times, clarify more than it felt necessary to, and ended up being dismissed by the guy at the drive thru when the 2 missing double cheese burgers were mentioned. He then made some excuse, blaming other staff, and then that we "didn't get charged" for those burgers anyway. It's a lie, since if we only got charged for 2 combos, why would it be $30?? Read moreI used to love zips. We would have it all the time. I took my kids in there today. There were two people in front of us. While I ordered a guy came up asking for his food and said he has been waiting 30 mins. 6 people came in after, ordered, got there food and in many cases left. I asked the cashier. She told me she was not the cook. There was an older lady who was supposed to be the manager. She did nothing but play on her phone the whole time. They had one kid in the back running all over trying to make food. Every new order the just stack on top of the older one. So after asking twice 46 mins later we got 2 cheese burgers and fries.
The part that I found the most ridiculous was a guy named Robert came in 15 mins after us. He orders the exact same thing as my son. The manager got up, this was literally the only time I saw her help at all. She made sure he got his food right away.
The girl at the front with super long nails did absolutely nothing to help anyone. Once our food was up. It took her 3 more minutes to hand it to us.
The guy in the back that was the cook was basically running the entire restaurant himself. Everyone else should be fired and he should be promoted.
I can honestly say this was the worst dining experience of my entire life.
