I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wings Pan, LLC , a new gem in our community that is making waves with its entirely gluten-free menu, minus some pre-packaged snacks. If you’re craving authentic Korean fried chicken with unforgettable flavors, this is the place to be. I tried the Spicy Go wings, which are tossed in their house special Korean Spicy Go sauce. The bold, robust flavors are a delightful fusion of earthy spices and herbs that truly capture the essence of Korean cuisine. I also had the Soy Tango wings, and they did not disappoint either. The Sweet Soy Garlic sauce was a perfect balance of tart, tangy, and sweet, creating an explosion of flavor with every bite. What truly sets these wings apart is the texture. Despite being gluten-free, the crunch is unreal! The wings are crispy on the outside, yet juicy on the inside—something I haven’t experienced at any other gluten-free establishment. Each order is accompanied by chopped Daikon radishes and a fresh coleslaw. The subtle sweetness and tanginess of the radish cleanse the palate perfectly between bites, while the coleslaw adds a refreshing touch. You can genuinely taste the love and dedication the staff puts into every dish, making us feel blessed to have this restaurant in our area. The kindness and respect from the staff only add to the wonderful experience; they are truly grateful for every guest who walks through the door. Supporting local businesses like Wings Pan is something I’m proud to do, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try the beef bulgogi and the Wings Pan Tenders. In addition to the amazing food, they also offer unique Korean drinks and snacks that are definitely worth exploring. Overall, I give my experience at Wings Pan a 10/10 and highly recommend you bring your taste buds here as soon as possible. Thank you, Wings Pan, for the full belly and...
Read moreWings Pan is the latest eatery to find a place in Cheney. I'm not sure what to classify this place as. A Korean restaurant, Korean-oriented, or a chicken place.
The pros: -It's a Korean place! -Korean-style chicken product! (not sure what that means) -The sauces are quite good.
The Cons -Prices feel a bit much -Orders are slow. -Unable to determine which dish is which. (This is probably nitpicky; writing on the container what the food is would help.) -Portion size seems small for price.
Personal experience I went twice. Got a beef bolgogi bowl and a spicy pork bowl. My kid felt that the spicy bowl wasn't very spicy. I enjoyed my beef bolgogi bowl but it was heavy on the green onions/radish. Wait time was probably around 15 mins. We weren't quite sure which bowl was which, we kinda guessed.
The good news was there were at least 4-5 groups of people there when we went around 2.30pm on opening day. Also, the kid said the kimchi was pretty good (compared to offerings on the other side of state).
2nd visit, we got the chicken tenders. Soy Tango and Ginger Maple Ginger. The sauces were decent but we didn't know which tenders were which. (Because both were good, we didn't worry about it). Wait time was 30 mins or longer; again, 4-5 groups of people. Best bet might be to call it in and give 'em 30 mins.
End thoughts. Not going to say more because it's more opinionated than what people will want to hear. My excitement and fascination for this eatery was for the beef bulgogi. And that it was...
Read moreIt was an "okay" experience, I walked in at 5:00 p.m. on a Monday and there were no customers and 3 employees, I ordered a "single, Korean style barbeque flavored" (the middle size which is basically what you would get if you ordered wings at any other wing place) and its price is based on lbs. Instead of # of wings and so for this single size it came with 6 wings and my gf got a "1/2 single, Korean Soy Tango" (half the size of a single) that came with 3 wings and she got a monster energy drink, the total came out to $35.94 without a tip (with a small cash tip it was $38.94) which is kind of wild for 9 individual wings and a 16 oz can of monster energy but it's whatever, we went and sat down and for the entire time we waited, nobody came in during that time, in which it took 24 minutes to make 9 wings, so already a bit of a rough start BUT then when the wings came they were really good, very juicy and well made and that was the saving grace, so in all the wait and cost is a bit rough but the taste of the food was worth the wait but the numbers of wings and the smaller size of them may not be. A...
