Every so often, I try and give this place a try. And every so often, I'm reminded I shouldn't have wasted my time trying. Whether it's the "we can't answer the phone" voicemail or the non-existence of an online ordering system, this is the only place that forces you to drive there just to order food. And then (if you're lucky) there won't be a million other people waiting there for their food to be ready because they were in the same situation as you. It's a shame because the bagels are so great, but it's egregious that you can't at least place an order ahead of time. I understand that this is a small business and they may be short of staff, but so is everywhere else. If you're too busy to answer the phone, then have an online ordering system. If you can't have an online ordering system, then answer the phone and ask to place the customer on a brief hold. I wouldn't be writing this review if this hasn't consistently been my experience when trying to support...

I know I wrote this comment underneath 2 years ago, but boy, did "COVID" really messed up some of these Mom and Pop restaurants. I went there to get 3 bagels. 1 plain bagel lightly toasted with strawberry spread and 2 French toast with cream cheese. When I got home, I got the plain correct but the french toast without anything just plain. The funny part I got charged for having cream cheese plus I left tip in cash. The inconvenience to get up and drive to order your breakfast just to come home and find that issue. I never had an issue here but really, just one person working g behind the counter as well, smh never had an issue at this place but gosh "COVID" messed a lot of these restaurants. All to help these local restaurants just to deal with these headaches. Very disappointed and time to go elsewhere!

2 years ago "Great bagels for south Jersey coming from a person that grew up in North Jersey. Great atmosphere, prices, and friendly staff. My...

The best bagels I've had in the area hands down. They had a good crispy outside with a soft, slightly chewy inside. Flavor was on point, exactly what you would expect. I ordered a baker's dozen with a tub of cream cheese for office and I got a toasted everything with whitefish salad. I came in just after the opened for the day and they were able to accommodate my order no problem. I wish I could've waited a little longer though, they were still putting out different flavors after I had picked mine. They almost remind me of a donut shop with some of the toppings I saw. As such I went with the basics, plain, sesame, everything, blueberry etc...I did get a French toast which someone enjoyed. I loved my whitefish salad even if it was missing LTO that I wanted. But the fact that I could bite through it without half of the salad falling out the other end gets a shout-out. There was some seating inside, but it appears most people get their...

We found K&A in 2020, and were initially blown away. Since then, it's been a slow decline until this weekend, when the consensus was that nobody enjoyed them. They used to be big with a nice "crust"...good "chewy" consistency...and fluffy on the inside. The last batch were all dense, hard, hockey-puckish. I know absolutely nothing about making bagels, but these seemed to be under-proofed. The other issue, as you can see in the picture, the holes in the center were so large that it was hard to put cream cheese on them. Flat thin rings...are not bagels. I'd chalk it up to a bad day, but it's not the first time we've been underwhelmed. This, however, was a new low. I'd go to 2 stars if we hadn't liked them so much in the past, but not sure if I'm going to make the trek (10 miles) again.

Do not recommend. I saw the high rating and thought I'd give it a try. We order 2 bacon, eggs and cheese on everything bagels, a hash brown and bagel with cream cheese for my son. They gave us a burnt hash brown that was still completely frozen. We brought it to their attention then continued to try to cook the same burnt hash brown and gi e it back to us. The bagels were basic and after I saw how they handled the hash brown makes the rest of the food questionable. The veggie cream was terrible. I get their family run but I also have a family and what was served is unacceptable.
