Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

I will never be going back to this restaurant again! I do believe the experience that I had here will also deter me from any other Manhattan Bagels restaurant as well. I believe they are under new ownership but they are very rude and lack professionalism and empathy. I placed an order for a holiday party at work and scheduled it for pick up the day before. I received a confirmation email and several emails telling me my order will be ready for pick up at the scheduled pick up time. I get there to pick up my order and everyone is looking at me like I’m insane. I explained the situation to the cashier and his response was, in short, we don’t have any record of your order so I don’t know what you want me to do about it. Completely rude and lacking empathy. He then told me to come back to pick it up… the only reason I was picking it up a day early was because I needed it for work early in the morning. He explained his manager was not there and there’s nothing that can be done. He did however call the manager and I spoke to her. She explained that their WiFi was down, therefore they didn’t get my order. I understand that things happen but this put me at a huge inconvenience and they didn’t seem to care. She told me she would give me a call the next day when she got into work to discuss a refund…. No call! Completely UNPROFESSIONAL! So I gave it a few more days and finally called. UPDATE 06/11/23 The customer service to resolve the issue is even worse than the food! I contacted them via email with the details of my visit on 06/02/23 and received an automatically generated response acknowledging receipt of my email. That was it… 8 days later and no phone call, no email, no refund, no store credit or anything! Bad Food & Bad Customer Service!

I ordered a strawberry lemonade, 2 breakfast sandwiches on a plain bagel. one turkey sausage, egg and cheese and 1 bacon egg and cheese on 6/2/23. Something about the bacon egg & cheese tasted really weird, the closest I can describe it is almost sour. I asked for scrambled eggs and got a fried egg instead so I wasn’t sure if that was the reason for the funny taste. Halfway through the sandwich I decided to throw it out. By late afternoon and well into the next morning I was experiencing bad stomach cramps, diarrhea and throwing up constantly to the point I was throwing up bile. This was my first time eating here and definitely my last! A old co worker recommended them but I wish I would’ve checked the reviews first.
