Phil's Deli and Market — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

Phil's Deli and Market opened up a solid decade ago right down the street from me and since then, has completely taken the surrounding areas by storm, so much so I would consider Phil's easily one of, if not, the most reliable non corporate eatery around us.

Phil's makes great food, whether it is breakfast, perhaps just a snack, or a full meal/platter. Phil's always delivers on quality. Their sandwiches are divine (sandwich menu also consisting of award winning sandwiches), their breakfast is delicious with plenty of options between breakfast sandwiches on fresh bagels or platters with a little bit of everything.

In terms of service this place definitely succeeds as well. The owner, Phil, is a great guy and genuinely puts his soul into the business and it definitely does show in the quality of anything you purchase here. Everyone is professional and friendly and will help you with any issue or question you may have.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, after researching places to go for a cheesesteak! After a little while I found Phil's, having some raving reviews, I decided to go. I ordered a cheese steak at the counter with hot peppers and onions, took a seat and it was delivered within minutes. That was delicious, one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a long while. I think what made it, was that fresh bread, oh so good! It was nice and hot and the perfect amount of meat and toppings. Excellent!! I believe it was Phil, the owner, in there taking my order and making the food. That was so cool to see, he really cares about his business! He was checking in on me after I ate and didn't forget my name after I informed him for my order, using it many more times after that. I go to Phil's frequently. I work at the Verizon Wireless across the street and must say I am never dissapointed. Whenever I have a new employee I offere to buy them lunch their first day and we order from Phil's usually. Almost everytime they receive their meal, they're overhwelmed by the portion and quality of the eats. The staff is ridiculously friendly and usually will always suggest something new and its always fantastic. My personal favorite on rt 70 for sure and our GO-TO spot for lunch.
