Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

Worst experience ever of ordering a pizza over the website. placed order for two pizzas and i made a mistake for topping on the second one. I reached the store within 10 mins of order and requested them to modify the second order. After that it was an ordeal. On the website they don't mention that order goes in via doordash. The staff started calling the doordash customer care and asking for solutions. When they agreed to change the order pizza twist told them they already got the 2nd pizza made. Wasted over 45 mins on phone trying to figure out what to do and broght me to the point to just cancel the order. When i asked just cancel the order so that i can leave they again started calling doordash. Neither of them either willing to cancel the order or make a new order. Finally i had to leave without the order. I guess losing one pizza is more important to this place then losing a customer for life time. Never ever going to order anything from this palce again.

Adding to my review as the owner is straight lying on the response. I never asked for free pizza. Infact i never took the two pizzas i ordered and paid full money for both amd just left. Only request was to modify the second order and these type of requests are quite normal in other placed. This is only unique place where they need to call some third party servove for solutions. You can enjoy the two free pizzas from my side. You already have the full payment. I could care less for your free pizza. Hire some trained staff who know how to handle business. And to add owner sent me long texts that this should have never happened and apologized. This person confirmed on my face that order is cancelled and it will get two days to get refund. When i called the doordash they told me another story that these guys have marked order complete and put some comments that i did not...

Lemme preface this by saying the food is VERY GOOD. Super warm and comforting. Very flavorful. Really cannot complain about the pizza. The spicy lamb was seasoned well and the Butter Chicken was complimented so well by all the goodies it came with.

However, I get that the place just opened but holy moly order management and communication between the FOH and the kitchen had a complete breakdown while we were there. I’m willing to cut them some slack because restaurant work is no joke and it can be hard to get everything running smoothly.

We waited for 45 minutes because they gave our pizza to the wrong person (there were 4 of us in the entire restaurant) and they let them have it for free but still charged us despite us being the ones getting shafted. Our loss their gain I guess lol. That’s truly what rubbed me the wrong way. They were kind of apologetic about it but didn’t really do anything to make it right despite verbatim telling us they gave our pizza away.

The food is truly really good so that’s what’s saving them. I really really hope they can pull it together because it’s very tasty...
