The store is well stocked, with a decent produce dept, decent butcher area and seafood. Only complaint, it's very congested, aisles are tight and can be tough to navigate. For as much business as this store seems to do, it could really use a full remodel. Today's food stores are all about space and easy navigation.
(Also, with a spinal fracture, I needed to use a store provided scooter. They had three that seemed available but only one worked and IT died five minutes into our trip. I appreciate that they have them available for use but it would be nice if they actually worked.)
The prices were better than average for their store brand, "Bowl and Basket". I find the B&,B quality above average and use it for many everyday items. We don't always use a store's bonus cards but we always do at Shop Rite. Got a great deal on paper plates. (Mostly for use during my convalescence). There are three Shop Rite sites near our home. The one in Lawnside is less tight by the registers. This location, at Holly Ravine, is overall best. Finally, speaking of registers, I'm pretty they had 9-12 self service check-outs which (sorry cashiers) we...
Read moreI can't comment about the store but this relates to the CVS covid appt app. My work sent me home due to my needing a Covid Test (which I appreciate the care they show). I was excited the CVS app showed an appt available - 45 minutes later for the rapid covid test. I booked it and received a confirmation. Store was about half hour from my house, so I rushed. After I parked, I took my phone out to pull up the confirmation when I saw CVS had texted me - appt was cancelled due to a temporary closing. I don't look at my phone while driving but the disappointment is they didn't show any regard to the time, money etc it took to get there, just a informal text. Needless to say, I had to wait several days but chose the Deptford Mall Covid Testing Site. Their app was user friendly, staff very friendly (it was the morning of the first...
Read moreThe olny redeeming factor goes out to the server. There is absolutely nothing worse than to order a combo meal at $16 (15.99) the chicken and ribs and the only edible meat is the chicken, which was cut so thin it was truly see through. The ribs were so old and dry that the bone was dark, plus they tried to cover it with bbq sauce to hide this fact. Mentioned this to the server and she spoke to the manager. So, any decent establishment would take the meal off, not this one. The manager's adjustment went from $15.99 to $13.99. So, as a consumer, am I to believe that the ribs were $2.00? This is the question I asked of her. There was no answer, in which I told her that she should look for a "top rate" rating and the...
