⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Night to Remember at Vera‼️ I recently had the pleasure of dining and celebrating along with my friend Maraine’s on her birthdays at Vera in Cherry Hill, and let me just say, it was nothing short of spectacular! Celebrating both our birthdays and Valentine’s Day, we were treated to an unforgettable evening from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the decor took our breath away. The ambiance was perfectly romantic, with stunning details that set the mood for a magical night. It felt like we were stepping into a beautifully curated dream! The staff at Vera deserve a standing ovation for their outstanding service. They were incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our experience perfect. Every interaction felt personal, and it truly enhanced our celebration. The patrons around us added to the vibrant atmosphere, making our evening even more delightful. We were surrounded by fellow diners who were equally enthusiastic, creating a lively and joyful vibe. The food? Oh my goodness! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that delighted our taste buds. We indulged, and every bite was better than the last. Thank you, Vera, for a phenomenal night filled with laughter, delicious food, and unforgettable memories. I can’t wait to return and create more amazing experiences!

VIP WAS HORRENDOUS! $$$ down the drain(I told the dude not to do it though). The white couches were disgusting and the padding was collapsing. The floor was dirty. The top of the couches had layers of dust. The light fixture had wiring issues and missing glass balls. The glass that bordered the VIP room itself looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for years....zero Windex. Obviously it has been a long a_ _ time since anyone has been in that particular section. Manager shows up an hour after I requested and had the nerve to say I should have said something earlier, this dude even agreed with me and still said that bs. Since he mentioned what should have been done earlier, I mentioned the area should have been cleaned EARLIER before we slid in there. Regardless. Where's the adherence to a MINIMUM standard of clean and appropriate accommodations? Especially after agreeing that the money paid represents a step above. VIP??? C'mon VERA, that upper VIP with the white couches needs to be renovated. Took money for an above average experience and failed at the basics. Should be embarrassed. You didn't deliver a viable product.

I can't even to begin the express my disappointment with this place. We reserved a table for my daughter's surprise birthday dinner. I bought a cake with me which they promptly took from me and put in the kitchen. Everything was going fine until it was time to bring the cake out. I watched them bring it out from the kitchen, take it to the bar and then take it back to the kitchen area. I thought that was a bit strange. Then they head to the table with the cake. The cake was a mangled mess. I asked the server what happened and couldn't get a descent response. I asked to speak with a manager and they took forever to come speak with me. When he finally came to the table he was very rude, dismissive and wouldn't even take ownership of the fact that they messed up the cake. He was argumentative and wouldn't even apologize. He stated it wasn't his problem. We spent over $1700.00 and I would NEVER go there again or recommend anyone else go there. It ruined what should have been a great time. Absolutely the worst communication and customer service.

Listen. I really want to like this place. The atmosphere is nice, food is pretty good for the price, and they have a friendly staff. However; as friendly as they are, the service is not. good. It’s... terrible. (Friendly does not equal being hospitable).

I’ve come the past couple weeks with friends and they are severely understaffed. Last week it took an hour to get my drink - because it was “on its way” and then because “another waiter took the drinks from the bar” and then they couldn’t even make anymore because they ran out of an ingredient. Nothing was offered in return, I just had to order another drink and wait.

Mind you, I come for the drag shows that go from 8pm-10pm. The show is half over at this point.

Why only one bartender on a night you know there’s going to be a lot of customers? Idk.

Here we are, another week, another drag show. Bringing a friend who hasn’t attended yet, and gave him a quick warning on the service experience last week praying that the staff redeems themselves.

Sure enough, everyone at my table received their drinks, and an hour later I’m still drink-less. (Why me again??) When I walk up to the bar to kindly ask the singular bartender, she just says it’s on its way. Meanwhile, people have figured out that it’s much faster to walk up and order from the bar rather than put in with waiters, so I’m watching people get their second, third drinks, while I’m just trying to get started.

I ask her to just change my drink to something more simple since that must have been why it was taking so long. She says sure, but the drink still never shows up.

Here we are... an hour in again.

My friends are all hungry, our waitress did not come back once after taking our drink orders. She eventually shows up, we talk quickly about my missing drinks/exchange with the bartender, she apologizes, and grabs me something

Fast forward, it’s 9:30, our food arrives and we have like 20 minutes to quickly eat before they start promptly kicking people out. The check comes and it’s hundreds of dollars because we are a big party. I notice my initial drink on there so I bring it to our waitresses attention (see? remember the conversation we just had? This is that drink we discussed..)

She goes to check with the bartender and says “well the bartender said this drink was sent out so we can’t take it off”

....

Honey.

We just talked about this.

Also no one has bussed our table the entire time so you can just look at the drinks on the table and see it did not come. (It was one of those obnoxious bucket drinks. I figured ordering a big drink would save me the headache of trying to order additional drinks. I was wrong.)

Anyways, my friends all get mad for me and get into it with the waitress and manager. Like we’re not trying to pull a quick one here...it’s $15 off a tab that’s hundreds of dollars.

Got asked on the way out “will you guys be coming back next week?” Here’s a hint: you shouldn’t have to ask. Makes us come back through good hospitality.

TL;DR — This place needs more people working and a lesson in taking care of...

We came to a dinner party, where food was provided in the package asa buffet style but drinks you had to pay for at the bar. The food was not worthy of $1100 bill, which consisted of boneless buffalo tenders, regular tenders, pasta, and some cheese steak egg rolls. The party was suppose to be private, but someone else was in our space having a party watching the game right next to us.The party was for 25 people but others who previously couldn't attend started to show up and not knowing of course this would happen we just continued to enjoy ourselves ordering drinks, until an hour into the party the staff took the food away, stop serving us stating that because the party was only for 25 people and more people showed up they wanted us to pay more money, but nothing extra was being provided. We were paying for drinks and we didn't ask for extra food we were actually buying food from their other menu, because the food provided just was not good enough. The manager never discussed that this would negate the contract we already had in place, nor that it was an issue because he let them in, and he was making money off them since they were buying drinks from the bar. He assumed that he could just make us pay an extra 600 Dollars plus just for bodies when they are paying for their own drinks. So of course we refused to pay extra. He didn't even honor our original contract which is supposed to have food for 2hrs. He tried to get over on us and waited until we were having a good time to manipulate the situation. We spent a good $1500/$2000 with the party and drinks we had to buy separately and the food that people also ordered but he wanted to be greedy. So when he didn't get his way after shutting the party down and ignoring us, he then proceeded to call the cops trying to say we didn't pay our bill making out as criminals, spitting lies saying he gave us extra food and we needed to pay more money. I was so disgusted by how management handled this, the greed is real and I will never give this place another dollar of my money. Oh and they tried to charge the card days later which is crazy, I know next time I will just do a dinner not a party because they really got...

We arrived at 9pm to check the bar out and get some dinner. 10 dollar cover.. not the highest cover but still high. Walked into bar area, and looked around. No host hostess so kinda guessed if it was open seating. Took a seat at a table. Waited about 15 minutes then went to bar for our drinks and asked for menus. Satdown and decided what we wanted. Still no waitress. Walked back up to bar and that's when the waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order. wanted to ask her were have you been hiding .there were only 10 people in the bar area and 3 of them were at a table the rest sitti g at the bar. She took our order. Had to ask 2x what we wanted. I wasnt sure if we were getti g what we ordered. About 20 min later our 2 tacos and salad came out . The croutons in the salad had more flavour than their chicken tacos. Finished our meal and the waiting game started again. Waited about 15 min and then went to the bar and oredered a second round of drinks. Got back to table and finally saw a what I can only assume was the floor manager come by ( he had bussed our table when.we were done eating) asked to send the waitress over with the check . 5 minutes later have a bill. And heres the best "sarcastically " part. They added a 20% gratuity to our bill. A party of 2 with an automatic gratuity. Are you kidding me. 10 min later I see manager and waitress and call them over. Ask why.. waitress says any bills after 10pm have it automatically Then manager says... anytime there's entertainment. I asked, well which is it?. they both just kinda looked at each other... I said you know what let it ride... bill for food was only 20 dollars her tip was only 3.80. I explained to them that she lost out on this one because I would have tipped a minimum of 8 dollars . Ive never had a bar add 20%gratuity for 2 people now im wondering if the bar did the same thing. Kinda crazy that I tipped the bar tender more than my food server and had to walk up there and get...
