The Famous & Original King of Pizza

Who knew a Pizza King also served hoagies, gyros, salads and perfectly cooked fries! Being from out of town, hungry and in a hurry to go sightseeing, we wandered into the first place we saw online that was walking distance from our hotel. I was taken off guard by the "cash only" so wasn't thrilled about the $3 charge to use the atm ($1 from the atm a'd $2 from my bank) to get the cash but definitely glad I did. I had a veggie slice. It came with brocoli and tomato w/white cheese. I was glad I asked before ordering it, because this Cali girl was not expecting that! It was delicious. I also tried the gyro and fries. Could have used more sauce and onion on the gyro but otherwise it was good and the fries were cooked nice and crisp. My friend had a steak slice and a cheese steak hoagie. Both were also good (had to try a bite of course ). But the best part of the experience was the service. The woman behind the counter was patient, helpful, kind and seeing we weren't from around there, made sure we felt welcomed. And so did the other employees I interacted with. Could find better pizza? Probably, but you won't find a better place to enjoy a meal. If I'm ever in New Jersey again, I'll be sure to visit this place! Go for the extensive menu and the great service!!
