This was my 4th time or some at this particular Spread. I was hoping for a nice breakfast before hitting Costco. Most of the times have been solid. This time it went south. I ordered the Standard, which is your standard BEC on a bagel. Fairly straightforward. I got my bagel and opened the wrapper and things were looking a little thin. I dug in more to research. There was a total of 1 (one) piece of bacon on the sandwich. There was some cheese and I had added Tomatoes and Spinach. The spinach was not able to be fouind by sight but I did see one or 2 pieces while eating. I got a 1 slick of tomato for the add-on. If you are keeping track, that's $0.50 for al slice of tomato. And .50 for the spinach that I had to hunt for. All in all it was quite a disappointment. $17.00 for a BEC and a water. A single bagel is $2.25, so that means I paid an additional $9 for 1 piece of bacon, some cheese and one tomato. Seems a it steep. Next time, if there is one, I will prob stick to a bagel with CC and avoid the randomness of what the chef decided to put into your breakfast. The indoor dining is bizarre too. There is one long community table but you can’t access the back side of other people are sitting there.

Just opened this past weekend and offers Montreal style wood-fired bagels. I remember when they only had one store in Philly and how amazing their bagels were. Haven’t had one of their bagels in years. Wasn’t wowed like I was in the past. I think this location is just getting their sea legs. When I unwrapped my bagel it was drowning in cream cheese. Bagels are good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. I had their blueberry-lemon bagel with strawberry basil cream cheese. I also ordered a salty egg bagel. Both delicious! You can watch them put the bagels in the wood-fired oven which is cool. Many options (about 10) for sandwiches made on their bagels. I didn’t try any but the options look mouth-watering and would return some day for lunch. Nice alternative to Panera. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich and said the bacon was higher quality than he is used to in a breakfast sandwich. Bagels are $2.25, if you order cream cheese it’s $5.75, a bit on the pricier side. Coffee drinks were reasonably priced at $5. Coffee is made by a barista. Apple chai and caramel latte were delicious. Offers limited bar top seating. Nice atmosphere. Small store.

Stopped at the Cherry Hill location because my daughter loves their Nova Salmon. I decided to try them out. I figured I’d get the Avocado Toast on a sesame bagel. I felt this was a safe choice and you can’t go wrong with avocado toast, right?! Boy was I wrong 😑! When I came home, I opened up a container that wasn’t what I expected. The avocado spread was chunky & dark indicating it wasn’t fresh. It was bland and lacked flavor. The bagel tasted like 3 day old bagel. They topped it off with red pepper flakes, huge halved cherry tomatoes and drenched the toast with olive oil. I was annoyed that I spent $9 and was not able to enjoy this. My daughter wasn’t too pleased with her Nova Salmon bagel. She said it didn’t have that many salmon pieces in it and it was just ok. I spent about $16 on these bagels and we weren’t pleased the least bit. I should’ve stayed with my decision to not order but glad I didn’t as I won’t be returning to Spread Bagelry. This spot was underwhelming and not what I expected!

I usually love this place but something the blonde older lady said to me today really stuck with me and made me uncomfortable I ordered on door dash for pick up and have been because of two other experiences I had there and I was just trying to avoid it happening again but this time she mentioned I selected two milks and said she hopes it’s ok she did just oat because “ she didn’t want to poison me” I don’t know if that was passive aggressive or what this lady has a problem with me for the other experience I had involved her as well and I told her I love her latte earrings she always makes the best lattes because I thought that would make her day and she seemed creeped out by it so I would just leave if I saw her working but this time that comment has stuck with me for the past couple of hours. I worked in food service I understand sometimes working with measurements you can’t do too and that’s all she would have to say. But after she said that she also made a point to go smiling and taking care of the other customer something so I don’t know if she knew her personally or just trying to show she’s a nice person just only to whom she wants to be. I don’t get it I’m not an over smiley person but I’ve never been rude to her. The other time when they where offering a 5$ gift card I spent the amount to earn the gift card and I didn’t mention it because the sign was posted big so I didn’t want to be over baring and the girl was extremely frustrated saying I should have let her know and I let her know I just didn’t want to be over baring but there was no apology and the energy was awkward. It’s a beautiful store and I’ve never had a problem with another staff member other then those two however that girl didn’t give me any further problems so I won’t mention her I’ll just assume it...

Stopped in after a job interview in the area. I went for a breakfast sandwich and some cold brew, and figured it was a good spot to check in on some emails and follow up with a few plans. The atmosphere was perfect for getting work done, with a fairly quiet ambiance and several patrons typing away on their laptops.

Got myself the Egg White Breakfast Sandwich on a toasted Everything bagel which came out delicious, with a good mixture of flavors from the mushrooms and proteins and the bagel was delightful! I probably could have gone without the mushrooms though, not that they didn't taste great, but the steam from them, or maybe the eggs, was a little moister than anticipated. With the toasted bagel it wasn't extreme, just a little messy while I ate.

But the real star of the show was the Pure Black Cold Brew. It was strong and smooth, with a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. I could have easily had three cups of it and still craved more. Not sure if they offer free refills but that could have kept me there for the day easily.

Overall, if you're in are looking for a quick breakfast or lunch spot, this is probably the best place to stop in at. The bagels are freshly baked on-site in a fire-stove oven, and the orders come out fast, making it perfect for...
