Barley Pizza — Restaurant in Chesapeake

We've ordered from this restaurants hundreds of times over the past several years dating back to when it was Four Seasons. The food is typically good; Once in awhile they change things up like their cheese fries, pizza and cheese steaks, but our issue is their delivery service. For some reason they cannot seem to follow delivery instructions. We specifically list to leave food on the porch chair and not to knock due to having a couple very reactive dogs. They still ring the bell or knock and then continue to stand at the door directly in front of the window while our dogs go nuts at the window, eventually turning against each other and fighting. We even have a sign on the door that also says NOT to ring bell or knock because of dogs. Last night since the driver refused to leave after dropping off our food, I went and squeezed through the door to grab the food and while trying to get back in without a dog running out, caused me to injure my arm. I think that is the last time we will be ordering from them. Why is it so hard to follow...

Barleys in E City is our favorite restaurant, so to come here with such horrible food and service was awful for the company name. From the moment we walked in the guy at the counter looked at us like we were a huge imposition being there, didn't say a word of greeting or have any manners. He did not help the girl in the back running around to serve, prep, or cook. Later her called back to her referring to me as "the white lady up front need something." Even worse was the food. The pizza dough was raw and the toppings were not fresh. We were so disgraced by our experience that I did not bother to bring the food issue to their attention. We wouldn't have wanted to eat anything else after tasting that anyway, or had to deal with the nasty employee; pizza night was ruined. Will...
