Oh, My Goodness!!! The cake was beyond beautiful. Check out the picture! In addition to being absolutely stunning, the cake was scrumptiously delicious. It was a delectable high-quality cake with a moist texture that melted in your mouth. The bottom layer was almond flavored (my favorite); the second layer was chocolate flavored (my husband’s favorite); and the top layer was vanilla flavored (my brother-in-law’s favorite). During our event, everyone (guests, restaurant personnel, passersby, etc.) raved about the cake’s stunning beauty. It was absolutely awesome!

Since the cake was a retirement cake for my husband, I chose glittery silver “cupcake toppers” as a decorative, whimsical, and personal touch. The cupcake toppers, which I purchased online, mimicked at least three areas on which he plans to spend more time. I chose male runner silhouettes, male golfer silhouettes, and saxophone silhouettes. I also purchased the cake topper online. I provided the online purchases, and “Sweet Kream Bakery,”- the subject matter experts they are - did the rest!

In fact, throughout the ordering and creation process, my interactions with the staff were super pleasant and always productive. Working with “Sweet Kream Bakery” was indeed a pleasure – from the initial consultation to the curbside pickup. The baker personally loaded the cake in the car for us – what a special touch.

The good: the people are super friendly, the place looks nice, smells great, seems like they have a lot of options and everything is beautiful.

I bought a variety of flavors of cakes and cupcakes recently to try out. Everything was beautiful. Nothing was flavorful. The lemon cupcake didn’t taste like lemon at all (if there weren’t a little lemon gummy on the top I wouldn’t have known it was meant to be lemon). The strawberry, and the cookies and cream cupcakes were interchangeable with each other and the lemon flavorwise. I only had half of each cupcake.

The chocolate cake slab was the best of the bunch by far, but the icing was meh and the cake (although very moist!) had a strange and inconsistent texture. I also got a slab of red velvet cake but it sits untouched in the fridge despite my sweet tooth and my husband’s healthy appetite.

It was my birthday and we got these baked goods to celebrate and I was excited but ended up pretty disappointed. I think they need to start over from scratch and figure something else out because everything about this place is great but the baked...
