China 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Came here one night for a quick bite to eat. We ordered the teriyaki chicken sticks, shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon was amazing. This place has the best tasting Rangoon out of all of the Chinese restaurants I've tried. Very tasty and sweet. Sooo good. The teriyaki sticks were amazing too. Again, one of the best I've had! Where they dropped the ball was the fried rice. We asked for no onion but I guess that meant to them, no nothing. Because what we recieved was some very plain fried rice. Literally nothing in it. I've been a long time resident here in Chesapeake and I've eaten here numerous times.. I don't remember them ever making their rice this bland?? Regardless, it was tasty enough that we will be back. Maybe I'll ask more questions about the rice...

We ordered the sesame chicken and pork fried rice combo and spent $26. The chicken and rice had a fish taste and smell to it, we got sick from the food! Not one individual experienced this but two. The only good thing here were the canned soda drinks. We will not be coming back and try Zekes next door to it. Learn how to take feedback and have good customer service as clearly you CAN’T. Also, if you read the review carefully @owner, I said the only good thing here are the canned drinks, thus we bought it with the two combos! Two combos and two drinks are roughly $26. Ordered on line, entered what I wanted and received the total. Ok'ed the total and texted them when I wanted to pick it up. When I arrived the woman behind the counter told me it was $2.24 extra. The internet order system was wrong? No apologies given for the mix up from her. Wasn't getting my order until I paid the higher amount. She didn't care if she lost a customer for basically the restaurants mistake. I paid the higher price and left. Will not go back to China 1, besides the quality of their food has changed...
