Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Pizza was delivered. As soon as I got it went to the kitchen to check it was correct as the last two times it was incorrect. It was not. Tried to do the driver as she was about to leave and she just drove off anyway. Contacted the store and was told bc it was a minor mistake I’d need to come to the store to get it fixed myself. Asked to speak to the manager and overheard the employee on the phone talking to them telling him to tell me he couldn’t talk and that they weren’t going to fix it. Told them I would wait as I fully expected it to be corrected out the order to be refunded. Was placed on hold multiple times without being told I was being placed on hold. The poor employee flat out told me the manager was refusing to speak to me. I told him I would wait and then I was hung up on. Even it was a small fix it is a major fix in my household as now my child will not be eating the meal at all and I basically threw 40 dollars down the drain. Driving to the store is a ridiculous ask and not even an option for me at this time. Will be being the biggest Karen there ever was bc this is now the third time this has happened. Crazy how ppl not even making a livable wage ride hard for these big corporations and treat...

For what I saw the older gentleman employee do tonight, deserves 5 stars for me!! 🥹 💯 It's cold and raining out, he started to get in his car, then he turned around and gave his pizza to a homeless man standing outside under the porch of the building right next to it. (Busy packed Friday night, that's where we had to park).

The man didn't ask for anything, just trying to get away from the rain. This selfless act of kindness warmed my heart! With so much hate in the world today, it's great to see there are still some nice people out there.

I feel like if the Papa John CEO saw what I saw tonight, he would put him in a commercial or write up of "Papa John Cares" ad or something. It just touched me. And I thought it was worth sharing.

I frequent this location about once every 2 weeks, ups and downs. Mostly all up. Biggest problem would be the employees upset with one another. Nothing to write a review about. But TODAY, it's worth it. I just want to tell him thank you! God will bless you for helping out the underdog. You made my day....

Absolutely horrible experience just now. I ordered pizza, wings and a 2 liter of Soda. Sitting here waiting for my food and I happen to look out the front door and my pizza is sitting on the front porch. Flies all around it, the box top is crushed into the pizza and my 2 liter is missing. No one rang the doorbell or knocked as I've been sitting in my living room waiting since I ordered it. I called the store to complain and the driver lied saying she rang the doorbell. I have a security camera doorbell, had she rang it I would have video footage of it. Turns out, the delivery lady was the Assistant manager. I get the Manager on the phone and she argues with me and refuses to send the 2 liter that I never received because she didn't like my attitude. Well, I don't like my food being left out on my front porch either. I asked for her Bosses name and was told his name was Phil and that he "was on vacation so I don't know what else...
