Toastique — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Saw a tiktok from TheeEbonyNicole about their matcha and I had to come check this place out! The vibes are immaculate for a cafe nestled in Greenbrier, Chesapeake. Toastique offers a crisp, clean and inviting space where you can utilize free wi-fi to work on tasks while also enjoying some healthy foods like their açaí bowls.

Toastique's customer service was simply top tier. Staff was attentinve and welcoming as soon as you enter the door. They even let you know that you are able to sample some of the juices if you are unsure about what you would like to order.

The customer service takes it a step further when they ask you specifically how you would like your drinks made. I ordered an iced matcha latte with some specifications for the scoops and a non-dairy milk alternative and they took great care in ensuring they put my order in right and checked in with me before making my drink so I could be satisfied with my order. Toastique's type of customer service is rare for the Hampton Roads region, so I really appreciated their staff for going above and beyond!

I also ordered their Dragonberry Bowl (Blend of pitaya (dragon fruit), mango, agave, strawberry, coconut water, topped with strawberries, kiwi, cononut, goji berries, granola, and honey) which was the perfect blend of sweet and savory while also being filling and a great size for the portion.

I cannot recommend this place enough- if my review wasn't enough to entice you, then you should check it...

If you're looking for something healthy, tasty, and fresh this is a wonderful option! I'm always a sucker for a good acai bowl, so after finding Toastique I went back three times in less than two weeks.

If you look at their menu, they don't invent anything particularly new, but they enhance it to give it a step beyond what you'd get at other places.

For me, it was the cocoa nibs that added just the right umph in taste and texture. Even the smoked salmon toast has a nice touch of microgreens for a good healthy touch.

They also have fresh pressed juices that they'll let you sample. I'm not one for spinach drinks, but theirs wasn't heavy at all and it doesn't have a lingering spinach flavor either.

Second time going I was able to talk a little more to who I realized is the owner. I noticed her positive energy and her willingness to answer any questions the first time I went. My girls and I visited with a group of wonderful ladies as part of a meet up- I ordered the Watermelon ginger lime seasonal drink and it was DELICIOUS!! I also ordered the pb&j for my girls; the only thing that I would comment on is the bread, specifically the crust. Sourdough is personally my favorite but my girls did not like it so much - thats on me! But the crust was very hard for them to chew through. Other than that, the flavors were spectacular! Love the jam and the peanut butter, it was def warm so it was a bit gooey and the girls loved it!! I also love that it came with strawberries and banana slices. They cleared their whole board! Prices are better than most cafes/ juice bars in my opinion. Service was spectacular, everyone was so kind and patient and incredibly accommodating.
