I visited the Portsmouth Blvd store by Chesapeake square, today at 830pm.. I order to platters with drinks. Pulled up and the young lady gave me two drinks. I asked her which one was diet and she said she did not know. I just sat there and after a few seconds she offered to make new drinks but requested that I pull up to wait for someone to bring the drinks it out. I didn’t understand why I need to pull up to wait for drinks. I waited for a while and went in. Asked for the manager and she was rude with a blue scarf on her head. I asked why I had to wait for drinks because the fountain was right there and she said they were on a timer at the drive through. But, they caused the issue so why create a false perception for time at the drive through to there cooperate office. So the manager handed me the drinks and again I asked how could I determine which was the diet as some restaurants press the top down. She said I could do a taste test or sniff test to determine but this time she had the tops pressed and she pointed to the tops and sarcastically said , on the side it says diet . I said I can see that as it small and I wear glasses and was tired and just wanted the drinks . She said her employees were tired and hope I got better. What was I getting better from??? At no time did she apologize, and all this happened because the employee did not identify which drink was diet. This is an example of horrible behavior and service from the top down. I will never visit this location again and will file a formal complaint complaint tomorrow with the cooperate office. Customer service at its worst. This made me feel unwelcome and less than a valued...
Read moreWe eat here occasionally because my husband likes it and there isn't a Raising Cane's close enough. Usually it's fine. We decided to try the curbside pickup option yesterday. I placed my order at 1752 for pick up at 1815, assuming they would be busy on a Friday evening. I didn't wear my leg brace that allows me to walk since I wouldn't be getting out of my car. I arrived early and marked myself as "I'm here" in spot 1 (the only curbside pick up spot) at 1805. I waited a while and assumed I'd have to wait until the pickup time I entered despite the drive through moving quickly. 1815 and I still didn't have my food. I marked myself as there again, just in case and waited. At 1820 I decided to call the store in case something had gone wrong and it wasn't working. Someone answered and immediately hung up without saying anything. At this point I was just done. I called the 866 customer service number. She couldn't get them to answer the phone either! At that point I told her my food was probably sitting in there cold and asked for a refund. She gave me a refund and apologized. I went to Chik Fil A instead. Got my food quickly, despite the long line. I paid about the same amount, too. We don't eat out often, so dealing with this is ridiculous and annoying. I'm sure they'll make up some excuse for it and do their best to justify the situation. Not that anyone cares, but I doubt we...
Read moreThe wrost customer service ever. Sydney B took our order from the drive thru and attitude was apparent from the beginning. First, if your working at a place that has you dealing with people face to face show some type of respect and maturity. Saying huh and what you say through the speaker was so unprofessional. After hearing this several times I just decided to pull to the window. After that the attitude went down hill quick. Being short and not speaking proper English while at work or anytime was so sad to see. I applaud the young lady for working a job but do it to the best of your ability and learn to be professional. You never know who your talking to through a speaker. She tried charging us extra for sauce that came with our meals, then she had us pull up due to spending $47.99. When she brought the food out to us she just slung it towards my window and walked away rolling her eyes. Who does that? After checking our food the chicken wings were so hot the grease burned holes in the container that started to meant through the bag. As a Navy vet of 20 years going back in to Zaxby's and talking to that young lady would have not been the right thing for me to do. Management needs to really retrain their employees and teach manners if they are going to represent your franchise. If you want me to fix it reply...
