Look I'm getting real sick of coming in this location and getting attitude from at least one employee every time. It's gotten old real fast. This time around the lines are backed up - you've got nothing but the stupid self check out lines and one poor girl taking on all the rush hour carts by herself. FINALLY what looks like to be a front end lead (shift lead whatever) comes on to a register and starts taking people. At first I didn't catch it but I realized she was ONLY taking the customers with minimal items, picking and choosing who had small carts. I have an entire cart full and decided I was going to her line. Her light was never turned on, but the LINES ARE BACKED UP AND THIS SINGLE POOR GIRL IS TAKING IN ALL OF THE BIG CARTS. I go over to the shift leads line and start loading up my cart, when I've barely made a dent in my cart only then does she feel the need to explain to me "she wasn't open". Look lady that's too damn bad. I know it's not her fault no one wants to pay cashiers anymore but even still. I used to be a manager years ago for food lion. I litterally used to do her job at another location. So I know full well when those lines are backed up it didn't matter who the hell you were - you got on those registers and got those lines down so people could be on their way. My STORE MANAGER at the time countlessly and happily worked the lines. She had a full attitude the entire time. I got really mad when she was nearly done with my cart and there was finally one guy left in line with a single case of beer and she points to him and goes "you can come to my line Sir" Oh....oh so he, with a single item, can come to your line? The other girl is taking all of the large carts, but thank goodness you graciously spared her of the single case of beer??? Are you serious. Mind you - THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SOUL WAITING AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER. There is no customer waiting for her help. If I remember correctly registers are no where near ready to be broken down at this time - so where and what on earth was so important that you had to cop an attitude to help your co worker get the lines down? Again - sick of this. I honestly don't want to come back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really like to share my visit there today.12/18/2020 I shop here quite often but after what I experience today I will not be returning.I drove from Norfolk but choice this shop to shop at.. First thing I witness was I was standing in line the register one over from customer service. There is not no one in line but a elderly couple in front of me, they start to back up to get out the line and go to the next register which was very strange so I ask the cashier Kevin if he is open he states yes they just had more than 12 items. My mouth dropped I told him he needed to be shame of himself. They probably had about 20 items if that in their basket. He tells me well I saw you come up with Four so I move them and took you.I told him are you really serious You were standing here doing NOTHING absolutely nothing did you hear me complaining. Then I ask about getting someone to customer service. He tells me he is the one at customer service but he canāt wait on me or the other two people already standing there for a least another Twenty minute he got to wait for some guy to go back. Are you serious what about the customers there was no one behind me in the line.Just lazy and trifling then some guys comes I quest some type of want to be manager tall light skin with black curly hair and powder blue dress shirt he comes to the service desk to tell us again it is close. So one of the customers ask if Kevin can come wait on us and someone else go on his register. He tells us NO and want to share this long story about people calling out from work and them being short handed there were register that had no customers. And while he was standing here with this long story he could have waited on us.We just left and I had drove from Norfolk Go home if you donāt want to work. This generation donāt have a clue and definitely donāt know anything about Customer Service. It...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is normally a very good place to shop. However; I feel that there may be a little bit of unnecessary attitude and rude behavior going on for no particular reason by one of the cashiers named Taylor. I picked up a large pack of water and put it on the counter to make things easier for her . And in all of my thoughtfulness to make it easier for her, I received smug attitude from her. Nonetheless she rolled her eyes to the woman in front of me and continued to be rude during my checkout. But waitā¦.she was very sweet to the lady in front of me that didnt have enough money on her EBT card and was very patient (which is all good and well but letās consider the situation and her rude behavior toward me for trying to be considerate). I gave this place 2 stars because itās normally a nice place to shop ā¦.but Taylor made the shopping experience very negative for no...
