I wasn’t even going to write a review, my friend and I went to your restaurant for the first time, we got treated like we were going to steal a da*m garlic shaker and my friend left a review and all you do is say that’s false claims (owner) when in fact that did happen and I was there, instead of saying I apologize for your experience, you come at him like if he’s making false claims, I bet you if you ask both of the girls that work there they will know for a fact that this happened, and one of the girls was actually nice, the one that is racist wasn’t even taking care of us, she was just worried about a damn garlic shaker and looking at us all weird from the beginning, like if we going to put a garlic shaker in our pockets, like come on really ? We can buy 20 of those or more, I normally like to add Parmesan cheese, chilli peppers and Oregano but I didn’t even dare ask for the rest of the shakers because if she thought I was going to steal the Garlic shaker imagine the rest of them, why would we be making this up ? You wasn't even there (owner) my friend even personally wrote you a message on Instagram and you haven't even responded but you come on here to act like we have to lie about this, instead of responding a personal message and maybe talking to your girls so they can treat customers with respect, because if I had a restaurant and she came over and I treated her that way she would leave a worst review, your food is great, I loved the pizza I loved the cheese steak egg rolls and what I have tried so far, that didn’t stop me from coming back but my review could’ve been better if it wasn’t for your response, I wasn’t going to say anything. I bet you responded without even asking them girls about this. You do what you want and how you want to do it, it’s your business but just because we are saying our experience at your restaurant doesn’t mean we are making false claims and accusations because they are in fact 100% true. Let them know that very few people are interested in stealing garlic shakers, we are Hispanic but we both make good money and we can deffinetly afford 20 or more garlic shakers if we really needed...
Read moreBeen here a few times before the fire and after the fire, guess you can say I’m an existing/supporting customer right? Well today I walked in and I asked if I can buy pizza sauce and pizza cheese to go. The girl working the front asked the owners son, do we sell sauce and cheese?” . 1, he was on his phone touching it without gloves while displaying flour on his wrists which shows them clearly working and operating cell phones at the same time, very unsanitary. 2, that’s the reason I came to buy my own pizza products so I can make it by myself the way I like and clean. 3, he didn’t even make eye contact with myself, the customer who’s been supporting his fathers business, he replied “no” looking into his phone. The girl looked startled. I said “no problem thank you”! My father owned 2 pizzeria at the same time before he retired recently for 46 years. We sold tons and tons of sauce and cheese raw. You have the product there sitting why not make money? I guess that’s what happens when you leave the young ones in charge.
I called HAVEN PIZZA in PROSPECT right after and they took my order and money as they should.. i was initially going to go there but they don’t open until 3pm, they answered the phone while being closed at 11:06am and told me “yes of course”! As I walked out of here. Far better staff and pizza honestly. Also they won best pizza recently.
See i don’t care about a 8 point Whatver score on barstool sports. Honestly that’s not even a score to be hanging billboards and flags up. Business’s do close down, it’s a thing. Cutting off your customers like that isn’t why you guys are there standing on your feet for 10-13 hours a day. I’m not sure if you guys know but word of mouth is the #1 source of advertisement and as of today I will not be recommending this place to...
Read more8/11/23 This was my first visit to Fuoco Pizza and not likely to be my last. I'd been intending to try their style of pizza for a while, and decided today was as good a time as any. Reviews are very positive, but so were those of my disastrous experience at a pizza shop a hundred yards west of here yesterday. Fortunately, this place lived up to their advance billing. But enough background. On to the nitty gritty of this review. I walked in from the back entrance (there's one in the front also), and there were a bout six tables capable of accommoding a max of about 25 patrons along with a couple of tables outdoors on the sidewalk. This is another order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. No ATM needed here. They accept credit/debit cards. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by a nice, friendly young woman. She took my order of a small (12") pizza with onions, mushrooms, bacon, and extra sausage. I picked out my liter of Foxon Park Birch Beer and sat at a table, striking up a delightful conversation with the folks seated at the next table, very close by. We discussed the merits of various pizza styles and pizza joints until my pizza came to the table steaming hot from their coal fired oven. A very thin crust that had a good crunch and chew. It's a New York style, not New Haven style, so the outside edges of the crust were as thin as the rest of it. Excellent crust, but I prefer a bit of bulk around the perimeter. It's just what I'm used to. The sauce they use is sweet and just the right amount. All the toppings were generous, flavorful, and not burnt, despite the extreme temperature of that coal fired oven. One star knocked off for the thin edge crust, but that's how they make their pies. Otherwise a...
