I'll try to make this short. I've never been with Verizon before because I could never afford their service. I had many problems with T Mobile, ATT and most recent Cricket. With Cricket i kept getting voicemails without phone ever ringing and calls didn't show up in call logs? I lost $600.00 in overtime because of that issue. Cricket blamed LG, LG blamed Cricket. I finally went to Verizon thinking i still couldn't afford them. I was greeted by German Mercado. Right off the bat i was impressed with how he handled me because i was still angry missing the OT. He took his time with me and didn't try to oversell me knowing i had limited finances. He convinced me to buy the Samsung A50. I was hesitant because my whole family had several issues with Samsung's top models over the past few years but trusted German. I got the phone home and immediately had major issues with the screen having very little touch sensitivity. I tried fixes I found online but after 2 days I called German, quite upset and explained the problems. He again calmed me down and met me at the store. It didn't take him long to find out what was causing the problem. He has good knowledge of their phones because no where anywhere in the manual, Verizon help line or the internet was the answer. You leave there with your problem solved, or a follow up plan to resolve the issue quickly! Another great feature of the staff at Russell cellular is the fact that if I have any question about my phone and I’m not able to get to the store during store hours or I am out of state, just a quick phone call to Russell gets me quick and efficient customer service help where many of my issues have been solved just by talking on the phone to one of the staff there! After an hour on a chat with Verizon to secure a trade in deal and a location to pick up the device I got an email that the order was cancelled. Having no idea why my order was cancelled I called Verizon. We spent an hour resetting the deal. Immediately I get an email the order was cancelled! I called this store directly to find out that the phone they have in stock was open box and could not be sold as new so they just cancelled the order. No contact to the customer OR Verizon to tell them why they are cancelling these orders. I gave up for a few days...good thing since the phone was now trapped in a trade-in agreement loop that required calling Verizon again and wasting another hour of my life getting the IMEI on the phone released so I could start the process again.
