Sweet Claude's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Cheshire

I was a bit disappointed in this selection. My daughter picked cookie dough with gummy bears, I chose cupcake with rainbow sprinkles, my mom had the Bailey's Irish Creme and my dad had raspberry on what was supposed to be a waffle cone but definitely wasn't.

My daughter liked what she chose, however she's 10 and it's ice cream... Can't really go wrong in her opinion. My choice was bland at best. I was told it had cake batter that was used when I asked if it was simply vanilla with blue sprinkles... Let's just say vanilla with blue sprinkles would have had more flavor. I was incredibly disappointed. Let's not forget that the young kid working there hadn't even finished putting sprinkles on it and it was already melting like crazy. As I walked outside it was dripping everywhere. I sat at a picnic table and the cup I had melted all over the place. The majority of the sprinkles were in a mess of melted ice cream on the picnic table which then proceeded to drip down between the cracks and land on my pants.

I was just flabbergasted at how melted all the ice cream was prior to even leaving the shop. I think someone needs top check the temperature gauges on...

First time trying this place and was disappointed. The ice cream is just average. No cards accepted. Cash or check only amid a pandemic, which is very risky and not very safe. Like who carries checks on them these days? So since my ice cream was already made, I had to use an atm, which of course charged a $2 fee and minimum amount to take out was $20. Plus I ordered two large size cups of ice cream and while I was at the atm the lady over the counter packaged both ice creams up, so when I got home I saw I had a medium size while the other was a large. Not only did I have to take cash out and be charged a fee, but I paid for a size of ice cream that wasn’t the actual size I received. Not impressed with this place at all. The owners of this place are so dishonest, entitled, and will scam our community. I will never never support ever again. I would always have people try to tell me about these people and I would always take up for them saying we are a community. We should always support each other and not bring each other down due to entitlement and dishonesty. Especially in this pandemic I know how our business are struggling to to be able to provide business in our little community of Cheshire. However, when you have an issue with health and safety and the lack of washing hands while handling money. Then touching my cones and my son's icecream. NO THANK YOU.
