CAVA — Restaurant in Chester

The customer service here is horrendous! I’m not sure if it’s because it is the night time shift or what but my God! All of the side talk between employees when im trying to tell my order and having to repeat myself a million times. It’s honestly ridiculous. I’m not sure if they were in dire need of staff and just had to hire anyone but it’s terrible when the manager is in on the side talk and isn’t redirecting the staff to stay on task and work diligently. Professionalism is everything, and it really makes no sense to have to repeat my self a hundred time when im directly in your face. Missing something in my order because you’re having so much side talk is ridiculous. This the third time that this has happened to me! I live right around the corner so I come here frequently and enough is enough. You cant even call and give them any advice because the phone stays off the hook. This needs to change. That is such a bad look on cava! I’ve never experienced this at any other location. Oh yeah and don’t bother ordering on DoorDash or Uber eats you’ll have to go back up there to get them to remake ur order because it’ll be completely...

Today I experienced what I would call a scene from Dr. Phil this young lady in front of me in line was holding up the line and making it difficult for the poor girl at the front by just forcing her to keep adding more to her bowl then I saw the manager proceed to finishing up this young ladies order when the lady was told she would be charged for extra rice she went bezerk. Almost as if she was going to throw herself over the line. Watched her stomp out and return several times to accuse the manager of being unprofessional. I’m just saying someone needs to stand up for him because I watched this lady not only curse at him profusely she asked for his name specifically. And I believe it was Kristopher but not completely sure but kudos to this man for protecting his employees and keeping the environment from becoming out of hand. Got my normal...asked for Greek Vin on top. The girl had a dressing in her hand and the manger said something to her and she switched dressings. The dressing he told her to switch to was WRONG and ruined the entire meal!!! If your gonna tell someone to change something, know what YOU'RE DOING. How about LABEL THE DRESSING BOTTLES! So frustrating! Meat tasted like it came out of the fridge it was so cold. Not sure if it's the dressing or how it' was prepared, but Hull St is 10x better. I visit Cava at least 3 x a week and I've never had a bad experience until today. Was so excited about the new location, but very disappointed instead. Please label the dressing bottles.
