I went in to pick up a mobile order and the moment I got the the counter I wasn’t greeted and when I was the girl was wearing AirPod max headphones on her ears and wasn’t very friendly. I ended up coming back because the smoothies i ordered just didn’t taste good it was watery and tasted way too sweet. I asked for a remake without a certain ingredient or a different smoothie and a different girl just walked off while I was mid sentence asking for it without coconut because I could only taste coconut and nothing else. I wasn’t able to fully finish my request and was met with butter disrespect and eye rolls. I was very kind and accommodating but they were all very rude from the beginning. They refused making me a different smoothie and refused remaking the drink without coconut and said it has to be remade the same exact way. I didn’t even want the same smoothie so I ended up asking for a refund and they asked for a receipt to which I mobile ordered my smoothies so I didn’t get a receipt and tried to show my app history but they refused to look or understand what I was trying to say. There was a assistant manager in the back or a supervisor of some kind and they didn’t even get involved which leads me to believe they were allowing these staff to be the way they were being. Not in dress code and wearing headphones over ears and rolling their eyes. Read moreI placed two smoothie orders around 7 PM on 8/28/22 via the Tropical Smoothie app. Upon arrival, it was not clear if this cafe was open, even though they were open online. There was a sign posted on the door that “We aren’t serving Food today. Sorry for the inconvenience. -management.” The open sign was also off. I called the cafe to see if they were open, but the employee inside did not answer. Based on this, I left without any smoothies and reached out via the app about my recent visit and received a lackluster response from the operations manager as if this was my fault. In the future, maybe make it more clear that the cafe is open. For example, stating that while the cafe is not serving food today, we are taking smoothie orders. We apologize for the inconvenience.
