Linda's Gourmet Biscotti & Bakery — Restaurant in Chester

I tried a lunch burrito, and it was very good, 4 stars. Linda was there, very nice and informal, and works hard to keep customers happy. Not surprisingly, the biscotti was the star, a wide variety of flavors, most available "double cooked" (not too hard but about as hard as biscotti usually is) and "single cooked" which was crisp but not rock hard, really perfect texture. Usually biscotti is like biting into a sidewalk, unless you dip it in coffee and make it a icky wet sponge with coffee flavor. This is very different, and I think they call it biscotti cookies, because you will want to eat it like cookies, in quantity. The flavors are well done, not heavy-handed, best I've ever had, and mouth feel and hardness perfect. Very good "regular" food but get the biscotti, even if you usually don't care for biscotti. If I could give Linda's Gourmet Biscotti Cookies 10 Stars, I would! What fabulous Biscotti! I have never tried a Biscotti so full of flavor with just the right 'crisp'! I have always been afraid to take a Biscotti while enjoying tea or coffee with the girls, because I expect a great flavor - without that bland aftertaste. I don't like wasting food or having to tell my host that I just did not care for it. This Biscotti Takes the Cake! LOL! I will be back, for sure. I found out that some of the local Shop-Rites are carrying Linda's Biscotti (you may want to call first) as well as other local retail shops, even a bakery. What an amazing find! I recently went to the address on the website to the store and to my surprise, it was closed and empty. I decided to call the number because sometimes the GPS can be wrong, and Linda herself answered and explained why the physical store was closed but that she is still operating out of somewhere else temporarily. I had inquired about wanting to have her biscotti as party favors for my mom's 70th birthday and she agreed to meet me 15 minutes later with a box of samples! Although it made me break my New Years resolution, it was soooo worth it!! I couldnt stop at just one!! These were the absolutely most delicious biscotti I have ever tasted.
