We went for our first visit and brought an out of town friend. We were so excited to give it a try. We will NEVER be back.
The restaurant was almost empty. We were sat right next to the table where all the servers were eating, including our own. We didn’t love that.
Ordered our food and drinks. The food came and I was given the wrong food. No big deal. I served tables for years. Accidents happen. The food came out again, and it was still the wrong food. I asked to have it remade and the server stated as she walked away that it was what I ordered. I assure you it was not. It’s not a dish I will eat, or I would have eaten it so not to wait longer. She then went into the kitchen and continued to trash talk. We could all hear her. Again. Mistakes happen and it’s no big deal. Trash talking your customers within earshot is absolutely unacceptable.
The manager came out to apologize about the food and I told her I didn’t care about the food. What I cared about the trash talking in the kitchen by our server. The manager said she had already talked to her about it.
The Manager brought my food out. My eggs were completely raw and inedible. I was so upset I boxed it up and left. Too angry to stay any longer. I made myself eggs at home. Unfortunately, it wasn’t just my food that was messed up. The other two orders were incorrect too. The manager said she took off my meal. The bill was still over $80. Not sure how that’s a thing. The bill was for two skillets and three drinks. The food and drink quality was not worth that much.
I don’t feel like the situation was handled well at all. Had it been, we would give it another try. Instead I’ll be telling everyone I...
Read moreWent this morning with my mom for breakfast. We were greeted and sat immediately. The waitress came up never told us her name and asked if we wanted water. Asked for coffee and was brought coffee pretty quickly and that was the end of the positive service.
She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu, came back and asked if we were ready. Gave her our order, bananas foster French toast with a side of sausage patties and a ham and cheese omelet with American cheese and rye toast, which she didn’t write down, she repeated it us back to us, and got it wrong. Corrected her and she went off.
About 15 minutes goes by and she eventually brings us our food….bananas foster pancakes, sausage, omelet. Forgot the toast, says she’ll be back with the sourdough toast caught that, she comes back and tell her I was supposed to have French toast not pancakes and she tells me it’s the same price so I want to just switch.
Food gets sorted out and now it’s time to pay. It’s starting to get busy so I pull my card out to pay, she comes back and swipes the card off the table and says she’ll be right back, I stop her and ask for the check first. They left the pancakes on the check too!!! Asked her to corrected the check. She came back again and tossed the check book on the table as she walked by.
I asked to speak with the manager who apologized for all of it. Paid my $42 bill and bounced.
Food was great but poor service will keep me looking...
Read moreWe got there about 1 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon. We were seated right away and it wasn't real busy. This menu. Huge doesn't cover it. I know they do breakfast and lunch items, but still. It's a lot and a lot to execute well. We both ordered breakfast...a Special Club #1 and a Denver skillet. I agree with people about the portions being generous and I think the prices are fair for what you get. I had an issue with my skillet because it was quite greasy. I'm not talking about grease from the meat or cheese, I'm talking about whatever they use on their flat top/griddle. All of the food was absolutely covered in it. I don't think I even ate a quarter of it and I was starting to feel green. The sides of pancakes would have been more enjoyable had they been hot. My butter wouldn't even melt on them. Throughout the meal our server Cassie was very attentive and friendly. She was the bright spot of our visit. Now mind you, they're open until 3 o'clock. I'm all for getting some side work done and being productive but it was a bit extreme. Chairs were being flipped, the bathroom floor was soaked from mopping, purple chemicals left in the toilet without flushing it down...it felt like they were closing any minute and wasn't a very welcoming feel for our first time there. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed and nothing would make me recommend...
