Stopped to get something quick this morning and the fact that it was little but of a wait was fine it was early morning rush time. But while the cashier was talking care of a customer he went back to see if they had a donut that she wanted in the back he returned and said that they were out. Soon as he said that most of his co-workers AND the manager yelled at this young man “ THERES NO WAY WE ARE OUT” OR WE HAVE SOME BACK THERE” in the most disrespectful and condescending tone ive ever heard used in a work setting in front of customers. Just straight attitude and eye rolls instead of saying hey, I saw them here. Let me show you .By the facial expressions and body language of the cashier, you can tell he was deeply embarrassed and angry that everyone yelled at him. And for a manager to join in yelling at this young man was completely unacceptable and when I pulled her to the side to tell her how her actions were perceived by customers because I was not the only customer that said that was rude. Im just the only one that spoke up I was met with her trying to over talk me trying to deny that they even yelled saying that the music was too loud when in fact, the music was not loud just every excuse in the book besides her receiving the message that what she did was rude and it was not the way that her crewmates and her should act in front of customers and how they should not treat their fellow employee. Saying that she was going to pull him into the side and talk to him about it once the rush died down. Just all in all completely unacceptable behavior of a manager let alone establishment at 7:30 AM. anyone that goes to the Dunkin’ Donuts around this time knows that it’s a big rush everyone’s trying to get to work and school is very busy and you can’t expect to be in and out however, they signed up for this fast pace job so they should be able to control, their tempers and frustrations and definitely should not gang up on one crewmember because...
Read moreUnfortunately, terrible experience. I have food sensitivities; but, don't enjoy flavor of straight Almond Milk in my Lattes or Cappuccinos. I discovered that if I mix Almond Milk with a small amont of cream or 1/2 & 1/2 & steam very hot, my body tolerates well. For some reason DD has a corporate policy of not allowing employees to mix Almond Milk with Cream or Milk. All other local coffee shops & chains have no issues doing this. I questioned why DD has this policy. Instead of receiving a clear answer other than employees can't violate corporate policy, one of the employees started bad mouthing me before I pulled away from drive through. When I said something about it, several of the employees started laughing at me where I could clearly see them before I pulled away from window. I work from home & DD happens to be closest coffee place to me. Generally I go out of my way to another local shop or Bigbys; but, I had a gift card & am as busy as everyone else during this season. I even provided a cash gratuity before being laughed at. Sure wish I had not. With all other coffee shops having no problem with the mix, I simply wanted a clear explanation. I'm a customer paying your ridiculous price for an overcharged product. The least you can do if you can't bother to make it my way is be decent and professional about it. Not that I was satisfied with you to begin with; but, you just lost a Customer for life and I will now bad mouth YOU to everyone with...
Read moreMinimum wage, minimum effort. You would be more suited to get all the ingredients yourself to make coffee and donuts at the rate they can prepare your order.
Update 10/27/21: Still terrible. Can never get a consistent order. Customer service is terrible, this generation lacks the most basic social skills and ability to multitask. Don’t bother to order on the go either, because they are incapable of fulfilling the order prior to your arrival. Upon your arrival you will then have to repeat your order, proceed to the emotionless robot of a drive thru attendant who will then ask you for payment that you already paid via the app and then finally you will receive your incorrect order. Go to Valpo or Portage if you really need to get Dunkin.
Update 11/7/21: Quiet, so quiet you could hear a pin drop inside. Absolutely no communication between anyone as if they are all functioning in there own singular bubbles. How can you have a place of business that you want to operate efficiently and effectively without communicating? This is why you fail, no synergy at all. And heed warning don’t order on the go, if any cars are in the drive thru or in line, because they can not multitask and fulfill drive thru orders and on the go. You will have to wait for the entire drive thru to be complete before they can even begin to...
