My friend and I who are both grandmothers, take our grandchildren there for lunch a couple of times a month. My friend has a health problem and cannot eat most of the foods offered and I am on a diet. We pay for the children's buffet. We each take 1 piece of chicken and sides for the children. My grandson asked for the potato wedges and they were not on the buffet, I asked one of employees and she gladly gave me a container of what appeared to be freshly fried potatoes. I went back to the table and my grandson immediately wanted one and I told him to wait, let me check to see how hot they were. I put a French fry in my mouth. A few minutes later, another employee came to the table and said "I have been watching you both, you will have to pay for adult lunches. I told her I had just eaten 1 French fry, and she replied "Well, that's stealing, just like a thief". We were both in disbelief but I was so shocked I just gave her my debit card. Neither my friend nor I ate a single bit of anything except for me eating the French fry. We do cut up the food in from of us for the kids and from a distance away, it could appear that we were eating from their plates but to be accused of stealing is beyond anything I have ever experienced. I don't have to steal a lousy piece of chicken to save a few dollars. I understand policy but to be called thieves and told we were stealing is far beyond anything that occurred. After we were done I asked to speak the manager and the fellow behind the counter told me he was one of the managers. I told him what happened, he did not apologize, just said he would mention it to his staff. It was incredible. My friends and family members and this thief will never visit that KFC again! Great...
Read moreThis is at least the 3rd time we've been extrememly disappointed with KFC. It's disappointing almost every time but usually for trivial things. Usually missing things from the order. Bones in the pot pies. (Not trivial if you order one for your kids) But there are 3 times that really stand out. Marlee (shift manager) has been there (and been responsible for) two of those times. I took some chicken back to the front counter that was so raw it practically clucked. Marlee said it was fine. Someone from the back actually looked at it and replaced it for me. This time my husband and I went there for lunch. Hubby ordered. I said I wanted the same thing. Marlee asks if we want "anything else?" Sure. A side of mashed potatoes to share. Order comes out. No side on my order. Just the gravy and the mashed potatoes for the additional side we requested. I told Marlee I had ordered cole slaw for my side and the potatoes were an add on. She said "you didn't make that clear" and walked off mumbling that it was my fault. Didn't offer to fix it or ask if I wanted to order another side. Just walked off talking crap. Hubby went to the counter and reminded her how the conversation went. She said "I'm not gonna argue with you" and charged almost $4 for a small side of cole slaw. She is rude. She has absolutely no customer service skills. She shouldn't be working at the counter and dealing with customers. I will not go back there and I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW why I won't be going back. Thanks Marlee. Easiest decision I've ever made. I'm so glad i didn't take my kids today. There's no reason to be so disrespectful to your (former) customers. Seems like KFC has some pretty low standards when it comes to hiring...
Read moreLegthy response, so please be ready. We got there at 6. Six being a universal dinner time we assumed they would be fully prepped for our party of 12 (im aware thats a rather excessive amount of people, but my grandpa is having very severe health problems and is cont. In and out of the hospital.. so this is the first time in years that we were able to go out to eat as an actual family, again why we thought it would be a good time to go). Well, already in the dining room were about 6 people, 4 of them were buffet-ing (?), so we felt rather confident that the buffet would be full, and for $9 it sure as hell better be. The dining room was actualy rather clean.. a few messy tables here and there but you take what you can get at 6 pm. We found an area for our group that was secluded enough to not interfere with others expeiriences. When we finally got to thw actual buffet, there was one scoop of cole slaw, no green beans (we waited 3 sets of the 15 minutes they kept telling us it would take), not once during our visit was there potato wedges, and we continually had to wait for chicken. The staff, although courteous, made multiple promises that theyd get various items out... everytime giving us an approximation of time that it would take.. and except for chicken the promises were lies. I understand having a bad night, and i understand what its like to be busy.. but to wait 45 minutes for as simple a thing as green beans it almost insane. I guess to sum all of this up, if you go.. dont...
