This restaurant was recommended when we stopped at the Wyoming state welcome center on Interstate 25. The R and B Breakfast Club was described as a fun location with a themed Elvis decor.
The food and service at this restaurant was excellent. We were greeted by several of the servers as we entered. Janel escorted my wife and I to our table. She told us a little about the restaurant along the way and as we were seated she described the food and the specials. She asked us about drinks and immediately brought us coffees as we got familiar with the menu. She was such a pleasant and friendly individual !
When we told her we were driving from Colorado back to Maryland, she told us about some local “must see” places while we were in Cheyenne. We ordered the specials that Janel suggested. They were brought to our table piping hot and well presented along with refills on our coffees. The breakfast burritos were huge and very tasty, just as Janel described. The two sauces (one served on the burritos and the other on the side) were both tasty and well prepared. The toast served along with the meal came well buttered, hot and with plenty of jam.
Janel came by our table two additional times to check on our meals and to describe some additional sights we might be interested in seeing. Another server passed by and also refilled our coffees. Everyone at this restaurant was efficient and customer oriented.
The Elvis themed wall photos and the images laminated on the tables made for an interesting and fun experience.
As we left the restaurant, each of the staff we passed along the way smiled and/or wished...

So ... ever since my brother moved to Cheyenne, we try to go out and visit him and his little family every few months or so. An 8 hour drive with small children gets really old really fast, and it's a long time to be stuck in a car. When we come out, though, we love visiting local restaurants and trying new things. After trying the breakfast burritos at R&B, we fell in love with them.
"But Kent," I hear you ask, "if they're so amazing, why did your review only leave two stars?" Well, here's the thing: you can have the greatest food in the world, but if you have a small family with young children that have to wait well more than 45 minutes to get seated, and no less than 7 other smaller AND larger parties get seated before you do, it becomes unacceptable REALLY fast. I want your food. I want to give you money. But I have only been able to do so on two of the six attempts that we have made to come get breakfast here. There is no space to sit down and wait, there is barely even space to STAND and wait, and the wait has consistently been unbearably long every time we've been for the last two years. We figured maybe we would try doing a to-go order once, but even that was an absolute fiasco, and ended up not panning out.
So, if anyone from R&B is reading this, your burritos might be worth the drive, but they're not worth the neglect as a prospective customer. Hopefully y'all can make some changes, because I really want to give you a 5-star review for the amazing, AMAZING (practically life-changing) burrito, but I have been so consistently angry at my inability to get them that I can't...
Read moreWe are locals and decided to make a pick up order to give them a try. We had 2 different breakfast burritos (2 meat no chili & 3 meat green chili). We also ordered a kids ham & eggs for our furkid. 😁
The 2 meat burrito had only a couple of small pieces of bacon, it was mostly sausage as far as meat. The 3 meat with green chili had nice slices of bacon and was delicious! The portions are perfect on the burritos & the kids meal.
My only complaint is when I called the order in. I felt like the lady that was on the other end of the line wasn't very welcoming after a decent amount of hold time, I could hear things happening around the phone. And even though I stated this was our first time trying the restaurant out, she continually correctedthe way I was ordering although I was using wording from the menu online . I called an hour in advance of when I wanted to pick up, she told me I only had to call early for big orders. Basically, I was left feeling like my order wasn't important. I was told matter of fairly that if paying by card to have ID. My husband went in to pick up, ID was not requested.
In my opinion, when answering the phone at a business, one should be mindful of their tone since we cant see each other. Service to me is as important as food quality & flavor.
We might give another try and...
