We order from Cornerstone usually but they have weren’t accepting orders. So; we settled on this place. We’ve ordered from them before and forgot how disappointing this place is. I know they read my order because I asked them to add it onions, which they charged me for. Kind of hard to say they didn’t see the special request section when they did PART of the order as requested. My fiance and I have been calling the restaurant on repeat. They don’t answer. They haven’t refunded any money. I always pay extra for my extra items like onions. I have zero problem doing so. What I do have an issue with is their incompetence and refusal to answer the phone or remake the food. My fiancé has finished his meal. I haven’t touched mine. So much for the romantic breakfast we had planned for today. This place is unethical and lazy. Not answering the phone after you make mistakes means you realize mistakes were made and you will do nothing to make it right. I am going to post this review on every social media page I can as well as to Uber Eats. If you can get into Cornerstone, go there. Their food is delicious, freshly made and they correct any mistakes. They haven’t made any that we know of yet. Maybe it is because they are literate and can read. S&P read the order well enough to charge for extras. I’m seriously angry with this place for making the mistake after reading and charging for adding onions. Not correcting the mistake or doing anything. My meal is...
Read moreOur order: One order of strawberry waffles, one order of strawberry crepes, one order of chocolate chip pancakes, a Denver omelette with rye toast, a custom veggie omelette with added cheese, a florentine crab cake benedict, a smoked salmon and avocado benedict, a side order of pancakes, a side order of whipped cream, and a side order of bacon.
We didn’t receive parts of our order. No strawberry waffles. No rye toast. No extra cheese on our omelette when we paid extra for it. No whipped cream. No syrup. Crepes were not filled as advertised. The chocolate chip pancakes just had melted chocolate chips on top. I will say that both benedicts were good, the bacon was as well, and, with some much needed salt, both omelettes were pretty good. When we called (fourteen times) about our disappointment with the service and meal we received, and the OVERCHARGE for items BILLED BUT NOT RECEIVED, we were met with an abrupt pick up and hang up. When we finally got a hold of someone, we were told that they were too busy to refund us and didn’t know how to give us a refund. This place is very unprofessional, a headache to deal with, and waste of...
Read moreMy friends and I went here on a Sunday morning before 10 AM and it was a good time to go as we beat the late riser rush.
Once we got there we had a short 5-10min wait and then sat at our booth. The menu is large and I had a hard time choosing as everything sounded so good as I was extremely hungry this particular morning!
I ended up choosing the 2x2 (as did my first friend) which comes with eggs, a choice of meat, and French toast. My other friend got a skillet of some sort, cannot remember the name, unfortunately.
The French toast was DEVINE. It came with 2 slices, hence the name, which was a perfect amount as the bread was fluffy and thick! The eggs were cooked nicely (which for me says a lot as I don't always favorite eggs made from restaurants) as they were also fluffy and not too lightly cooked but also not burnt. I chose bacon as my meat and I like more limp bacon than crisp, and it was a little too crispy for my liking however I didn't specify how I wanted it.
Overall it is a perfect neighborhood breakfast spot! You can take friends or family and it is sure to be a...
