Franco Ristorancte use to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants on the south side of Chicago. I frequently dine at Franco Ristorancte but after my experience tonight, I doubt that I will return.

I ordered a carry out of spaghetti and meatballs and asked for extra meatballs. Only to discover when I got home I did not have the extra meatballs and it was on my receipt.
When I called the restaurant to let them know that I did not receive my extra main ball. The manager of the restaurant was quite rude, unprofessional, very short as she expressing to me that I did not receive my meatballs because, I did not pay for the meatballs even though they were on my receipt. She told me that I was confused and didn't understand.
She's shared that three meatballs come with the spaghetti meatballs but it was $9 dollars for the extra meatballs and that she packaged the food knowing that the extra meatballs was not included in my order. I asked her why didn't she share that with me once I picked the order up. I told her it was not about the exact cost but the poor customer service and her lack of empathy or care. She then disconnected the call. I tried to call back and no one answer the phone.
The root of poor customer service Includes hiring the wrong people, lack of training employee burn out, misunderstanding customers experience, Unconscious bias, racially motivated behavior and/or the lack of employee engagement. Clearly she was a bad hire wth no respect for customers experiences.

The food is delicious we ordered a total of 5 entrees including Chicken Marsala it was very flavorful if you like mushrooms this is the dish to order, spaghetti for my 1 year old son he was crying for more each time he would finish chewing his food it come with 2 meatballs for kids meal, 2 entrees of chicken and fries for kids the way its prepared is not your typical deep fried food its a whole piece of chicken breast breaded with spices and don't know what else pan seared it is delicious (so good i tried my self.) the presentation was good it just looked so good i had to try it. for my self I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo let me tell you this dish is so savory it has the perfect spicies in my opinion the portions are big we had so many left overs. can't wait to eat them tomorrow night. The food was delicious now let's talk about service as soon as we got there we where greeted warmly and seated right away one of the highlights of this place is that it is kid friendly high chairs are available. the waitress came right away took our order for drinks came back in less than 5 minutes with our drink.
