Sunday, 4:00pm I took my children to your Wendy's located at 2610 W Pershing Rd, Chicago, IL 60632. We were coming straight from a soccer game, and your staff messed up our order. Instead of fixing my order, they refused my service. I was not rude, did not mistreat your staff, and simply asked them to fix the problem. I asked for 3 baconator fries, 4 10pc nuggets, 1 large fries, 2 strawberry lemonades, and a small sprite. I was charged for 2 baconator fries and was willing to pay for it (the missing one). Also, I asked Miriam to please refund my money for the small fries I did not ask for and re ring me up for the missing baconator fries and small sprite. Because I asked Miriam to do this, she told me I had to go back around to the speaker as they can't ring up orders at the window. I simply explained that I know she's lying to me as I used to work at Wendy's growing up as well.
I should not have to go back around to the speaker when this was clearly an error on their end. Miriam was more worried about the timer at the drive-thru window than she was about fixing this mistake. There were no other cars in the drive thru, Miriam and her staff clearly had enough time to fix our missing 2 pc order. I drove back around to get the small Sprite and baconator fries only to get told Miriam is refunding the fries but now refusing me service. She had time to pull up a receipt for a small drink and another for small fries to show me that the price is the same for both.
I asked her to refund the small fries and ring me up the sprite and baconator fries for my child so I know what the difference is. She refused and refused me service as I had my 9 year old son crying and watching this whole disastrous display of "Customer Service." I don't know where you're finding the staff you currently have at this location, but as a regular customer during soccer season, the way your staff handled this situation was unacceptable and very unprofessional. Miriam kept closing the window in my face and was in such a hurry to get back to the exciting conversations going on inside the store at the rear. Idk what's going on or when having hickeys all over your neck while being in customer service ever became a norm?!?.
I am so disgusted and disappointed. I should not have had to bite my tounge, but I did because I had 6 kids in my truck I was worried about feeding, I didn't even get myself anything to eat as I was more worried about the kids. I had to now go to McDonald's across the street to get my 9 year old, soccer player a drink that your "wonderful" staff refused to sell me all because of my refund. Yes, we left without my 9 year olds baconator fries as well. Read moreI will drive more than 5 miles away to go to the next closest Wendy's since this one is possibly the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. On several occasions ordering a large fries will never get you a large fries since they don't fill up the container. See picture attached. Same thing with the drinks why should I pay extra for something if I'm going to get a smaller size since they don't want to fill up the containers. I will at least say the sandwiches are fine.
I decided to give them one more try. Because I was in a rush. And yet again from the pictures I've attached you can see it is still the same problem. So I decided to answer the survey on the back of the receipt. I quickly get a reply from the manager asking me for my contact information and tells me he's sorry my fries are not full. I also noticed in the email I'm attached from corporate that they told him to contact me and resolve this matter and for him before closing out this issue to make sure to fix the problem. But it's been 2 months and he hasn't contacted me. Which only goes towards other reviews mentioning on this page of the bad customer service. As you can see from the attached pictures the fries and the sodas are definitely nowhere near full and you do not get what you paid for. If I can give this zero Stars I would. I saved the money by going someplace else even though it cost me more money in gas to drive far away. If I'm in a rush I definitely steer away from here and go to McDonald's or anything else nearby. Because you always get something less than what you paid for. I'm going to assume that he closed out the issue with corporate saying that it resolved the matter and probably didn't bother.

Read moreCustomer service is NEVER an issue when I come to this location, but today was the exception… The cashier Laura needs some proper training in how to treat customers with respect and politely. She had people waiting for a long time in line without acknowledging anyone in line not even a “I’ll be with you in a moment” nothing… once she tends to taking orders she was rushing us (as if she wasn’t taking her sweet time before taking orders). I had an offer to claim from the app and she came off really rude asking me to TELL her a numerical code which the app didn’t provide me with that type of code, after I tell her that I had no numerical code provided she tells me in a very annoyed manner that she can’t do anything without the code but then I show her the app to let her know that the only thing provided was a QR CODE and she scans the QR CODE! Once she realized that she made the mistake of asking for a different code she didn’t apologize…she continued telling us that if we weren’t ready that she could come back to us. We were ready we had 3 separate transactions of the same item which I had initially mentioned to her. I really don’t understand what her problem was. She wasn’t efficient nor polite. She could’ve been nicer. I get that we all have our bad days but it’s not the customers’ fault that she was in a bad mood. The other people who I came with had also noticed her treatment towards me and we were so confused as to why?
