6/15/21 @ approximately10:10pm at the McDonald’s in Chickamauga, GA. We entered the McDonald’s. There were mop buckets, mops and brooms in the lobby. Two employees were laying on the benches of the first table on the left just inside the store. We first went to the restroom. The was toilet paper all over the floor. The garbage was running over. As we washed our hands and turned to go out the door, there was a roach, 3-4 inches long sitting on the garbage can. Then as we went to order, there was no one at the counter. The was no one in site, except for the two employees still laying on the bench. I asked them if they were still taking orders at the counter. To which the young man replied, “ Huh, ugh yeah.” Then turns back to the young lady and resumes their conversation. I hollered, “hello?” After a couple of minutes we decided to go through the drive thru. Which we did. I ordered the fries “to be cooked fresh and hot please”. They said sure. We pulled forward to pay and then to the second window to get our food. The lady at the second window, I presumed to be the manager going by the uniform she was wearing. I told her that we had gone inside before coming through the drive-thru. However no one was anywhere to be seen except for the two employees laying on the bench. She told me, “well they are off duty.” I saw that she was not going to address the problem the restaurant has, so I did not reply. I decided to address the situation thru their review site. Read moreI prior purchased a meal. It took them 3 times to get it right. Then they made a game out of it. The 3td time she saw I was on my phone and she said, oh this is not right and quickly took it back. Another incident was I ordered a buttermilk chicken biscuit and was told it would be six minutes before biscuits were done, I said fine. When I got to the window my order was ready. They used a cold breakfast biscuit and put the chicken in it. I paid more money for a buttermilk biscuit. Another incident was when 2 cars angry pulled off (there was my clue), and for 2 buttermilk biscuits they were going to charge me over 10 dollars. I questioned the girl and she smarted off throwing her hands up stating what do you want me to do about it, I didn't take your order, I was the 3rd car to drive off. I was telling a friend about it, and they pulled the same thing on him, he told them they were crazy and went to Jacks. We go there because we have a limited choice of fast foods in Chickamauga. So if you are ready for them to underestimate your intelligence, over charge you or pull in where kids are having fun time, be prepared to risk Hep A, having to go in and get your order right after the BS at the window or them giving you a breakfast biscuit instead of a buttermilk biscuit, remember Hardee's has a pretty good burger. Read moreStay away from McDonald’s in Chickamauga! I ordered the 20 piece nugget with a basket of fries and a medium sprite. Got up to the first window where the lady proceeded to ask me what I had ordered and then didn’t give me a total but took my card and charged me $51. My order had been added onto another order. They had already took the money off my card and then refused to give me cash back. Instead it was either take the food I did not order or put the refund on my card which takes 3-10 business days to refund it back. I’ve had Covid the last few weeks and hadn’t been to work which means I don’t get a paycheck this week. The meal was for my daughter and I was gonna go across the street to Jacks to eat. When they messed up and took the last money I had out of my account I was forced to go hungry for the night. I called back to speak to the manager after seeing that the money had indeed not been refunded back to my account, explained this situation where she refused to make it right and even give us any food but was told we should have taken the food instead of being refunded for it. So now it’s a waiting game if I even am going to see the money back into my account. She rung up the meal and refunded the difference after THEIR screw up and allowed the adults in the family to remain hungry for the night because of THEIR mistake! I won’t be going back!
