Edit: responding to the business owner because I can't respond to your response. I've had this dish many times at other restaurants. It's a delicious dish with a unique flavor. In my opinion your oil was rancid. Maybe you missed the part where I said the spring rolls were also cooked in rancid oil. stating my opinion is not libel. You have many other 1 star reviews. You could have offered to make this right, but instead you threatened me. Self awareness is so important. Maybe rather than threatening your MANY 1star reviewers you should take the criticism and improve your customer service and food. Thank you for proving the point that I shouldn't have sought a refund.

Honestly I try not to leave bad reviews, but I don't want anybody else to make my mistake. I'm so very disappointed that I had to waste an entire meal. Everything was cooked in old, rancid oil. I could smell how foul the oil was before I even opened the containers.

The spring rolls were quite burned and I still would've powered through them. However, they also smelled/tasted of rancid oil and were not edible. I'm pretty picky, so I wanted a second opinion and I asked my eat-everything boyfriend (with an iron stomach) to taste it and verify that I wasn't overreacting. He was baffled by how bad all of it was. Thirty bucks straight in the trash. Then the oil made the trash smell so bad that we had to take out the trash.

After reading the reviews left by others I will not be seeking a refund because I can tolerate the loss more than I could tolerate being harassed by a bad...

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!

Please read before ordering from this Chinese restaurant!!!

Firstly, I had to give it a one star because there is no option for 0 stars... This restaurant was NOT in no way what I had hoped for! From ordering on the phone to tipping the driver this was a horrible experience! I called to order and was not given a total after giving my credit card #s but was hung up on. So I called back only to be told I should have asked & lies regarding their food (I specifically asked if the Honey Walnut Shrimp had the white glaze). I was told yes but it did not. When the delivery guy showed up he parked between the street and in front of the neighbors. Then when I tipped him $4 he made a remark about it which I couldn't understand cuz it wasn't English. On to the food; I ordered the Walnut Shrimp, Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice & the House Cheese Puffs. The Cheese Puffs didn't have the sweet red sauce so I immediately called to see if he forgot to give it to me. Whoever answered was rude and told me nobody including me gets the sauce?! The Shrimp Fried Rice wasn't fried, had 5 shrimp in it and was extremely soggy. The Beef Broccoli was dry & tasteless (again the rice was over cooked without any seasonings) and didn't have the sauce that it usually comes with. The Honey Walnut Shrimp did NOT have any glaze on them, were over cooked, very greasy & mostly batter. To top it all off I got severely sick and was throwing up most of the night and the next!!! I once got into a screaming match with the owner of this place after he started freaking out at me because I had the audacity to call his store after he ignored several of my attempts to kindly ask him if he was working on the order since he didn't greet me and confirm he's working on it just like every other business I dashed for. Just a completely bitter man who is looking for an excuse to argue with people.

If the health inspector took 1 tour of this place it would be shut down, I'm convinced it's a front anyways

EDIT: I can't reply to reviews on here, so editing this on 4/24/24 since you asked for a reply: you were by far the worst owner I ever had the displeasure of encountering when I used to DD, you got angry with me over nothing and I bet you can't even figure out who I am because you probably fight with everyone. I do not work for DD anymore so have fun reporting me because it won't do anything you bozo.
