La Flor De Michoacán Paletería y Nevería Homemade Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Chico

I come here often. The icecream and everything is bomb. Service is always friendly and fast. I never take time to write reviews, neither negative or positive but today we had the rudest worst customer service ever. I took my mother in law for her first time here. We went in at 2:40pm. The place was empty when we went in. The girl working had a long face on and didnt acknowledge us even after we said hello. She didnt ask what we'd like to order either. We had to tell her what we'd like. We ordered 3 nachos, fresas con crema & manzana loca to go. After we ordered a small group came in and she handed us our nachos and said she was going to take care of "the line" first. I guess we weren't part of the line.lol My mother in law really wanted to try the fresas so we hung in there. Finally 45 minutes later she asked if we still wanted what we ordered and after we answered yes she rolled her eyes at us and went to prepare the order with her long ass face. We ended up walking out of there at 3:45pm! She also wasnt understanding anything we'd say in spanish. Like come on girl, the items on the menu are mostly in spanish.The girl looked mad the whole time and I wanted to walk out as soon as I walked in, but stayed because of my mother in law. How someone like her can keep a job...

Went to the store when it first was open and it was awesome service was great as months went by service started going down I thought it was because of Covid I went to try their new BLT with fries I paid eight dollars almost 9 for a BLT that there was more lettuce tomatoes in there then there was bacon there was exactly one and a half strip of bacon to this big old side of sourdough bread then I got a fruit cup Fruit cup and the fruit taste like it was 100 days old and they didn’t even fill it up but they still charge me nine...

We got there at 9:30 (says on google closes at 10 maybe wrong?) open signs on and the door unlocked. We were standing outside and opened the door halfway to ask if they were open since they were cleaning up. I asked but the two workers didn’t answer, but they had seen us. My partner asked and finally one person looked at us, looked at their coworker and then kept sweeping. We completely understand if the place is closing already/not serving but why not just say that?
