i came into this restaurant on a sunday, the whole place was packed and it looked really nice inside. i came with some people close to me and we wanted to get some sushi and try out a new place. from the beginning the staff was doing everything backwards compared to a regular traditional japanese restaurant. the plates were never passed out to each of us at the table, the menus were jus put down on the table and never handed to us. for everytime i’ve went to a japanese restaurant i’ve always gotten miso soup first and then seaweed salad. i have never got seaweed salad on top of actual greens before but i don’t eat meat so i didn’t complain, it’s jus the fact that that alone isn’t traditional to what i have seen. all of the food that we ordered comes out after a while, except for the miso soup. we asked about the miso soup and within a couple minutes it came out. traditionally miso soup comes out first in order for u to release the gas in you before u indulge and enjoy the rest of the meal, it didn’t here. the miso soup tasted like it was a miso soup packet. the soup was salty beyond compare and i really had to put that at the bottom of the list of miso soups i’ve tasted. the spring rolls were bigger then what i’ve also seen to know as spring rolls , they were okay but not the best at all. the sushi looked really good as well but it felt as if the staff was rushing to put things on the table so they never really handed us anything, they jus put it on the table at the edge or somewhere we would have to reach for it. the kicker of it all though was when i finished the seaweed salad on top of the greens, i was left with greens to finish. the seaweed salad tasted as i usually a always taste it. i kept eating the greens because i wanted to get to the sushi in front of me and i am someone who likes to look at the food i am eating, i look down to pick up another piece of lettuce and there is something moving in my plate… i look a little closer and notice ITS A STINK BUG IN MY PLATE UNDER ALL OF THE LETTUCE. i immediately spit the food out and let the staff know. we didn’t eat any of the food on the table after because just the sight of it alone in a restaurant speaks various tones. the STAFF really set it off for me when they told me that sometimes the greens are just thrown in so you never know what’s in it.. i felt like it was a slap in the face that she even had the audacity to say that to me. the fact there’s a bug in a plate alone says you’re establishment is not kept clean and u do not watch or wash the food your are preparing for consumption. i always go to different places to give them ratings because this restaurant has good ratings but i can’t believe what my lunch turned out to be! if i wasn’t who i was i would’ve taken in some stink bug protein. it’s a shame i never took a picture. staff didn’t handle the situation at all, yes the whole entire bill was canceled but the food was even on the table even after they let us know that. the food wasn’t great for what i tasted so far, and it overall wasn’t a pleasant experience. i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone in...
Read moreI visited this restaurant with two other guests. Was undecided at first due to it being my first time and having food allergies. I ordered orange chicken and lo mein with vegetables. I assumed it would be broccoli and carrots or the like. Instead I received what I was informed from my guests standard veggies in lo mein that included bean sprouts, I cannot eat bean sprouts. I was not satisfied with the orange chicken because it was dry and wasn’t covered in batter as I assumed it would be. That was my mistake, I should have asked for clarification and I should have asked what vegetables would be in the lo mein. But I didn’t, I also was not informed by the waitress Linny or Lin what type of vegetables would be in there at any point. When Lin returned to the table my brother Jasper spoke up after I said I was dissatisfied and said he would take the food I wasn’t happy with. Lin must have assumed I didn’t want anything because she didn’t ask at any point if I wanted anything else. She came back 3 or 4 times before my brother, cousin and I left and each time she addressed them instead of me. It seemed intentional after the third time. Regardless of what she thought, she should have asked me personally if I wanted anything else. Any other establishments I’ve been to have done so and multiple times. Most times the manager comes up to see if he or she can do anything. That never happened at this restaurant. Lin pretended like everything was ok because 2 out of 3 guests were happy. When I reviewed this restaurant on Yelp, a staff had the audacity to lie about my experience and fabricate this conversation I had with Lin and me declining food I was never offered. I guess I shouldn’t have expected better service in Chicopee, MA when I live in Boston, MA. Maybe they don’t teach good customer service skills and how to accept bad reviews when you’re employees don’t act how they should.
Do better, and stop fabricating monologues between customers and waitresses if you didn’t care enough to check on the 8 people in your restaurant at 2pm...

Spent a few days debating if I should post this but I feel as though I have to. Went with two of my friends for the first time, we love sushi! We were excited and one of my friends traveled from Ellington Connecticut, so a pretty far drive for him. I ordered wonton soup and my boyfriend and I were sharing it. As I was putting the spoon in my mouth I saw something SHINY!!! It was the waitresses earring!!!! I was kind enough not to make a scene and I was not rude at all. I was a waitress once so I understand mistakes happen! Anyways, she apologized and brought my soup to the back where they HOPEFULLY made a brand new one. My stomach was turned but I tried staying positive and tried to enjoy the rest of the meal but was unable to touch anything I ordered. - she charged us for the soup, our bill was over 120$!!!! We had to go orders, I ordered a drink, and my bf ordered a 24 piece sushi! She gave me a container THAT WAS BROKEN!!!! the soup got all over me. I was besides myself, then finally I had to tell her I feel as though I shouldn’t have to pay for the soup. Again, I stayed respectful and tipped her well for what I went through! She ONLY took the soup off and not one manager came by to talk to me or apologize! I am still upset seeing my bill was so high for just my bf and I! My friend had to pay separate, he was so disappointed! Please be careful here and...
