Country Pride — Restaurant in Chikaming Township

Rarely do I hand out a less than satisfactory review, and perhaps today is just one of those days when they put an uncaring cook with a waitress who's only working because she can't afford to die. 1. I like a full glass of water when it's delivered. Otherwise one might think, "did someone taste it first to make certain there was enough bleach mixed in?" 2. Charbroiled, is basically the same as burned, and neither of the two words pair well with chicken fried steak. 3. Hashbrowns. Is that what those were? I thought it was a mess of shoestring potatoes all crunchy and brown to the point that a good amount of ketchup wouldn't even help. 4. Garlic bread was supposed to come with the meal, but maybe it's a good thing she forgot to bring it out, or quite possibly she gave it to the table who didn't want my plate when she tried to give it to them... 5. No olives on the salad bar. - Next time I plan on being stuck in Michigan for two days, I believe I'll stock up on leftovers before I leave OhiO. Try out the restaurant, maybe it'll be...

We always came for their hometown comfort food. Now,They now have a very small menu ,,but was still hoping for great tasting food We Ordered, we didnt get any silverware asked again...nothing. We Ate from the salad bar with a soup spoon that the bar had- Difficult...we asked again, but DID get our drinks..asked again, ..nothing n no drink refill. our food came out, still no silverware n no refill on drinks. I got up to get silverware myself, she said sit..its on its way. She wasnt happy.. She brought silverware 5 minutes after food came. .but food was cold. Still no refill...husband was beyond mad!! I Didnt want husband to make the waitress cry by spewing venom so I sent him to get chicken to go, while I paid our bill for uneaten food. I had to hear about it all the way home...We are local, but sadly, will never come back. I'll have to live without their brocolli soup..it will b hard...so...

Ordered hot dog special no onions. I watched my order sit in the window for 15 minutes. A server finally brought it over, not my server who was nowhere to be found. I ordered no onions and of course it was loaded with onion. I waited a half hour to get my corrected order. Then was charged 20 for said meal. Two hot dogs and a very small amount of fries and a coke?? Not worth it. Put me behind on my work day and charged me extra for it. The server had zero explanation when I asked about my order, other than some mumbled crud that the cook wasn't feeling well. The other customers got their orders no problem, stir fry and a breakfast dish. Super lame. Next time I would just rather not eat. Will not be back and will be actively...
