Good Ole Boys BBQ — Restaurant in Childersburg

Went here for dinner as it was close to my hotel. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Let’s start with the service and staff — good ole country folk pleasant and professional while being sweet as the tea they serve. Yes great folks. I ordered the pulled pork plate and was not disappointed at all. The pork was moist and flavorful and the proportion was very generous — they wanted to ensure I left a satisfied customer. I ordered 2 smoke rib bones to go with it and again the flavor was excellent, maybe could have left it on the smoker a tad longer really break that meat down a tad more and get just a tad more bark — but It was so good I wasn’t arguing. These ribs had rub layer that was quite tasty but I am a sauce guy and their BBQ sauce was excellent and tasted homemade. This plate came with crinkle cut fries and I ordered the green beans as my other side. My gf and I went to this location for lunch, and I’m honestly in disbelief. We’ve both worked in kitchens our whole lives, and we both genuinely don’t think we could make food like that. I don’t even write reviews, I made an account just to write this. This food was fresh and the flavor was incredible. I don’t know if all of the locations are like this, but it was just phenomenal. The staff was awesome too, we had interactions with 4 different employees and they were so kind and just genuine. The guy that rang me up was super personal and had me cackling. Straight up, full moons bbq sauce has nothing on these guys. I can’t express enough, this food is incredible. Taste like a home cooked meal from your grandma. I know this is just a comment, and we are just two people, but I feel that everyone that worked lunch today deserves raises. I went to the Childersburg location in order to pulled chicken loaded potatoes I wanted to try something new I had tried the pulled pork potatoes which come with sauce on top not throughout cheese bacon bits so I ordered the chicken pulled potato which they should stay on the menu comes with sauce mixed throughout and that it was very dry . I called to ask is this the way they prepared it all the time they said yes I told him I had had the pulled pork add another location and the sauce was it all mixed in the way that they did the chicken they wanted to argue that indeed both pulled pork and pulled chicken head sauce mixed throughout the meat explain to them that had a somewhat different on the pulled pork sauce on top not mixed throughout the meat like the chicken was served and could get something else and exchange instead I got an argument from Samantha I will not be returning to the store they were rude although I wanted was a potato was little sauce in exchange for something that...
