Think of what you'd get with a complementary hotel breakfast, but $15.99 instead of free. That's pretty much it. They had:
Biscuits which were kind of sweet
Your basic sausage gravy
scrambled eggs which were covered with a metal lid- will take off your fingerprints if you're not careful it was very hot
Sausage links and patties that could've used a few minutes less in the oven
Bacon- was good, definitely my favorite thing
Pancakes and French toast, again could've used a few minutes less while cooking, pancakes were a little on the crunchy side
Cooked diced potatoes/home fries + tater tots
Some fresh fruits and toppings for your pancakes and French toast, I did not try but looked good and fresh
And your basic cinnamon rolls
Overall it wasn't bad, but for $15.99 I'd much rather just go down to Golden corral and get more of a variety. Especially with the dinner buffet being the same price, I think the breakfast buffet needs to be knocked down a couple bucks. I don't really think you should be paying the same price for less of a variety.
Our server was super sweet and on top of it, she made sure my coffee was always topped off
Atmosphere wasn't bad. Still looks like a Chinese buffet, but in all fairness they just opened and I'm sure it may look different in a few months as they get settled in and make...
Read moreWas there around noon today. My son got the breakfast buffet. The biscuits were so hard you couldn’t cut them with a fork. The watery sausage gravy was ok. The pancakes were also hard. His dad ordered and we sat and waited while they didn’t make his food. Finally I asked about it and they made it. They discounted our bill for the inconvenience and that wasn’t the biggest deal. I got the soup and salad buffet. Many of the containers were empty and not refilled the 1 1/2 hrs we were there (so long due to waiting on food). Some of the containers had frozen food in them. The banana pudding was frozen and moldy. The bell pepper I put on my plate was moldy. The scraps of watermelon, chicken, and other stuff was frozen to the bottoms of the containers. The macaroni salad looking stuff was so dried out. I didn’t even try the soups because they looked terrible. The hot dinner or lunch buffet table that was supposed to have hot food on it was cold. They did move the already cooked food to a hot one though. This is literally one of the nastiest places I’ve ever eaten. I hate to leave negative remarks about a small business but this was so bad. You are messing with the health of the public running an establishment like this. You are absolutely responsible to make sure you are serving safe...
Read moreOverall not a horrible experience the food was mid quality two of us did the breakfast buffet which was 15.99 a person and everything was just ok nothing special but not bad but I would say for the price and is not worth it. And one of us had the BELT which was not bad the lettuce was a little old. The place was pretty clean but it still looks just like the old Chinese buffet. The bathroom was nice. And our waitress was excellent. So overall not a bad experience they also said the dinner buffet is the same price...
