Nekter Juice Bar — Restaurant in Chino Hills

After a cheat day of junk food, I usually fast the next day and only consume a green apple detox in the day time and a light healthy dinner. A few months ago I did the same routine. I woke up, felt totally fine and had not consumed anything in the day except for a green apple detox as I usually do. A few hours after I consumed the green apple detox (all I had that day) right before a light dinner of salmon and vegetables I was feeling quite ill. I had cold sweats, felt very nauseated and ended up vomiting before I could even eat dinner.

I have had food poisoning before many years ago and this is EXACTLY what this felt like. The problem with corporate food/beverage places even if they are franchised is that there is a very HIGH chance there is a kid behind that counter who doesn't care, is underpaid and or is not trained properly. Mom and pop places are no exception because the hospitality industry depends paying low wages to turn a decent profit. The industry is also quite difficult as is and mistakes will always happen. My advice to young people in high stress, high volume situations is: IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING, DO NOT DO IT FAST. ITS BETTER TO TAKE AN EXTRA MINUTE AND DO IT RIGHT.

Terrible terrible service. I came in today Thursday at 3:30pm there were three girls working there one white chick with glasses another brunette chick and another girl with dyed hair and pigtails. I had an order for pickup at 3:30 when I got their their was no greeting I sat there for a good 15 minutes waiting for my drink that should’ve been done as soon as I arrived. Dj snake is classic so I enjoyed hearing middle while waiting been awhile since I heard that one. I finally tell the girl with pigtails I had a Greenie drink I ordered and she confirmed it and said it would be out. So I waited another 5 minutes then the girl I asked about my drink leaves which I found strange and then I go back and it’s finally ready at 4:00 I waited a whole half hour for a drink that was supposed to be ready when I got there not to mention neither of the other girls I’m assuming their highschoolers even bothered to tell me it was done I had to ask for confirmation and the glasses one finally said yeah but with no thank you no customer service terrible experience. The girl with pigtails was okay but the other two girls that were working were extremely rude! I have been a regular customers for 5-7 years at Chino Hills Nektar since its opening. The quality really fluctuates and there were 3-4 times in the past that I was not satisfied but I decided to let it slide because I wanted to support local business as much as possible. However, this is the biggest disappointment ever. On Oct 9 4:50pm, I ordered 4 Spiced Golden Apple Bowls. The bowls were 70% filled in average, not all ingredients were included in the bowls, the presentation is nasty and look nothing like the advertisement picture. It looks like all 4 bowls were made in one setting and the mixtures got mindlessly poured into the containers and yet I am paying for 4 bowls like $45 in total.
