Update 2: After eating here for years, I just realized the reason I kept coming back. This place has retained the taste of a typical restaurant in Taiwan. The food here isn't in the highest tier of Taiwanese food, but it is always consistently good and simple. So every time I've eaten here, it felt a lot like I'm visiting Taiwan again. It's just some good comfort food that doesn't overpower you with strong flavors. So, I’ve updated the score to a 5*. And now it has added a new fruit drink menu and some typical Taiwanese desserts. Also new is that it serves bottled soy drinks from Fu-hang (阜杭), a breakfast place in Taiwan with some Michelin recognitions. We didn’t try them as we prefer salty ones, which were not sold in bottles.
Update: this eatery is now fully expanded to the next door with plenty of seats. All outdoor seats and those in the original space have now been cleared. The service is always A+ here and the food remained very good and authentic in its taste.
This is a very authentic Taiwanese eatery located in a very quiet shopping center in Chino. All dishes were very similar to an average restaurant in Taiwan. Fried intestines were good and the stew pork rice was pretty good as well. They have recently removed outdoor seating and the indoor seatings only have room for around 6-8 people sitting snuggly. But yesterday, they opened the yogurt shop next door (same ownership as the restaurant) that’s closed for the winter, but with plenty of comfortable seats. The service was friendly and attentive. A good find in a non-Chinese...

The food was great and delicious. We chose the fried pork chop, fried fish fillet, salted pork, and pork slices with garlic combos, the fried fish cake, fried tempura, oyster pancake, ba Wan, sausage in sticky rice, gua bao, thick soup and of course the stinky tofu. Honestly, we over ordered but our mental weakened quickly once we saw the food choices. Sleeper hit was actually just the bowl of rice with the but of pork. Not sure what it's laced with but wth so good.
Legitness confirmed by my mom, my friend who lived in Taiwan, and my wife, and she only likes Taiwanese food in Taiwan.

Read moreDid take away but at noon on a Friday looked very busy with no tables available and 5-10 GrubHub orders getting picked up. Taiwanese isn’t typically my favorite cuisine but enjoyed the food here. Taiwanese meatball was interesting and sweet. I thought the sausages were good but nothing special. The minced pork on noodles was good but very small portion of pork. The bentos were great deals with curry tofu, veg, pickles, rice with a little pork. I had chili chicken and highly recommend. Also tried the stinky tofu. I personally would not eat this again but it was super unique and interesting. Highly recommend just to see...
