Super Chili Burgers — Restaurant in Chino

TL;DR: Find somewhere with observed 'business hours.' Or, play lucky day roulette and profit.

It sends a bolt through my heart to rate this establishment. It's painfully clear that it's the family hobby more so than a professionally operated business.

The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. I've loved this place since I was a young child. So, why the resentment?

You can have all these memories too.... IF they keep their doors open for you when it suits them. 6:18PM on Tuesday Jan 23, 2018: Closed. Their hours place them open until 9PM. This isn't the first time they've been closed without notice during normal business hours. Yelp them, it's a known habit to some. A habit which I've now encountered twice against the fair warnings posted elsewhere and my own experience.

Perhaps they can set up a fan club. The kind where they send text and emails to members when they'll be open for business. Until then, they're not getting business from me again.

Luckily, those countless referrals I've given to friends/family about Super Chili Burgers in the past didn't make me a liar. They're a top notch establishment. I will not, however, offer further referrals for them to show up to a locked and...

RIP Super Chili Burgers

I read the reviews about the new owners (Sushi 123) who purchased the naming rights of Super Chili Burgers & decided to give them a shot but was extremely disappointed. I should've known better when I pulled up to an empty parking lot & drive-thru.

Don't be fooled with the photos still on the walls of Nick, Jimmy, & their parents. This place is under new ownership & it shows.

Instead of walking in to a friendly greeting from behind the counter I received blank stares from the guys working. There were two girls working the drive-thru & one turned around & greeted me. You can tell she's the only one that knows what she's doing back there.

I was there to pick-up a phone order & waited as she helped the guy working the register ring me up. Everyone else behind the counter including what looked like the Mom huddled around with blank stares. I immediately noticed on the screen my order was wrong but knew this would be my last time here, so I let it slide just so I could leave.

I had a friend who would mention this place on Facebook. So Wednesday night my husband and I went there for dinner. My husband had the pastrami cheeseburger and I had the ribeye steak melt. Oh my God it's food was so delicious. I love traditional Patty melts but this one was so much better. From the perfectly buttery toasted bread, delicious tasting ribeye, and the cheese and grilled onions. It was like the best. My husband had the zucchini fries and I had the french fries. They gave you such a generous amount with your meal that we were able to share each other's. They were delicious. Definitely looking forward to going back. There's no dining inside but they have the patio you can eat on. Walk up to the door they have a table with the menu and an employee will come out and take your order, then they deliver it to the patio. They even come check on you to see how everything is going. They also have a drive-thru and that was busy also. They had a few customers that walked up and got their orders to go. I would definitely go to this place if...
