Came into town on a business trip and spent most of my money coming to eat here. The food was absolutely amazing every time and if I had the stomach space I would have got triple the amount I did. Never had any major problems with my orders apart from not receiving utensils(I’ll live). Other than that it’s an amazing family owned shop that I’ll recommend coming to for anyone visiting. The very last day I was there for my trip I called ahead with a big order the gentleman who I didn’t catch his name got all of my food finished while taking care of other customer in the span of about less than 40 minutes. I was expecting a lot longer of a wait but they got me in and got me out in little to no time. Of course I gave him a hefty tip too especially the fact he had his little girl there that I could tell was causing some stress but he got it all figured out. All of the food was made perfect to order and fed my family plentiful.
Only real critiques I would have with the food is that the fries can be hit or miss on the flavor department or being too dry but it’s nothing major. The lemonade was a little bitter for my pallet. And the garlic mashed potatoes that I got on my first visit were a little too chunky. But all in all those small things don’t take away from the fact that everything else was absolutely amazing and made me feel so happy with every bite.
And as for the restaurant the decor is a little dated and the stools were a bit rough to sit on but I took my food to go so I’m not going to let that completely effect my review as well as that’s the best part of the charm of this place. Doesn’t feel like it’s a corporate restaurant and is welcome to anyone and everyone.
If you have the money and the time 100000% come to this amazing spot you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend the gyros too. They...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I have been itching to try the food here and with construction finally done we took our chance. It was worth the wait, to say the least allow me to explain. First they were extremely busy and rightfully so, their staff is a well greased machine. Upon taking my order and walking out the door was less then 10 minutes, mind you I had four orders ahead of mine. I physically watched our food get freshly prepared, from the fries fresh cut to the shrimp, chicken and fish get battered and dropped into the vats. My order taker made sure every bit of my order was what I requested, and also made sure I had the sauces I would have normally forgot to ask for. Then watching the gentleman in the back just killing it with his skills of keeping up with the orders, to the two ladies skillfully prepping each order and bagging them for all the customers to be on their way. How those two ladies managed to dish out that amount of food in that short period of time, without the slightest mix up or collision is above me. Then the food when I got home was absolutely amazing, everything cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious not too mention the freshness that was unmistakably present, nothing like any restaurant around! I'm a huge critic when it comes to food and these guys blew me away tonight, they have earned a regular customer and I can't wait to try the rest of their menu! Thank you andersons...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but the food I just got from here was straight-up gross, and the service was awful. I put an order in through Grubhub, and the older woman who I initially spoke with said they didn't have any pick-up orders. I ran out to my car to grab my phone and make sure I didn't have any emails about a problem with the order, and got a text notification saying that there was an update to my order and it would be ready to pick up in 10 to 15 minutes, so obviously they had no clue I'd ordered it until just then. Nobody said a word to me while I was waiting for the next 10 minutes or so, no apology, no explanation. A different person gave me my food, and she was pleasant and polite. Got about halfway back and noticed the donuts I ordered weren't in the bag. Checked my order on the website and saw that it was adjusted and the donuts were taken off the bill, but nobody ever told me about that, and they didn't ask if I wanted something else instead (I would have). Got the food home, and everything tasted like it was reheated. The cheese steak was stringy and rubbery, the jojos were pale and soggy and tasted like sawdust, and the macaroni and baked beans tasted like reheated leftovers. I couldn't even finish it. I used to love this place. Not sure if it was just an off day or what, but it wasn't just not good, it was offensively bad. Don't think I'll be coming back for a good long...
