Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Chippewa Township

Food was amazing. Came in with my girlfriend, she got a breakfast burrito and I got a chessey quesadilla, the food turned out amazing. Was pleased by the service by 2 out of the 3 staff. Jeff checked us out and was very kind, gave recommendations when we asked, James was also amazing, he was quick about making the food and also gave recommendations when we asked and explained everything very well when questions were asked. Now the kylie that took our orders was extremely rude, she asked my girlfriend if peppers and onions were okay on her breakfast burrito in which my girlfriend asked for just pepers no onions and kylie very rudely went "well they are together. What do you expect me to do just pick them out especially for you?" Like my girlfriend was supposed to know they were together. The when my girlfriend asked about sauce on the burrito because she didn't see it listed, she rudely said that it had quaso cheese like it said and if she absolutely felt the need to change it she could have salsa or just deal with no sauce. Kylie also just acted like having to be there and do her job was a nonstop inconvenience and was rude to more than just us, including customers in wheelchairs before us, making snarky comments under her breath about them. So food was amazing, but honestly they would have been better off without kylie, as she seemed to be doing very little of her job, and was overall extremely rude. Honestly this place is great, all the restaurants in the food district are but we started with bubbakoo’s the wait was to be expected as people are learning the ropes.

My fiancée ordered a burrito and we did find that the portion size given did not match the price we paid for it. Chicken was alright but subtle flavor.

I ordered a chiwawa and honestly it saved this place. Absolutely phenomenal! I had it with grilled chicken, cheese and bbq. Pretty basic but delicious. Portion size for the chiwawa was great, hot and worth the price.

The only gripe I have about this location (others in the food district seem to also have this issue, is that there is a giant pole right in front of the register area. Service was great though! All employees were trying their best and doing great while others were helping.

I’m giving 4 starts solely on the fact of a lackluster burrito and the pole placement. I would absolutely recommend you come try this restaurant and all others in the food district...

Let's start with the manager: She need not be a manager anytime she doesn't know how to multi-task or teach her team how to work together & keep all items available. This is the second time myself & three others has tried the food. Food has no flavor, something has been unavailable both times. Now let's talk about service: it's disrespectful, slow, sloppy, they move with no urgency. Working in a busy atmosphere, why would you only have two people working the front, one on register & one preparing orders.
