I had lunch here recently. It was pretty good, too. I ordered the flautas. Two with chorizo and two with rajas for $11.49 plus tax.
The flautas were very good. The rajas or shredded poblano peppers were very flavorful, but they were missing the white cheese that usually comes with them. They also came with a small amount of onions and what I believe were thinly sliced carrots.
The chorizo flautas were very good, too. Then chorizo inside was a little cooked in places which made it a little bit dry. Nevertheless, the chorizo inside the flautas was tasty and the flauta itself was crunchy. The flautas with the rajas did suffer a bit from crunchiness due to the extra water the peppers had in them, but they were still very good.
I liked that they topped the flautas the way they do in many places in Mexico. The fresh shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, well grated Mexican cheese, house crema, and some sliced avocados really made these flautas shine!
The green salsa and mini tostadas that came with the meal were great! They also give you crema and salsa Macha. All were terrific!
The service was super friendly and welcoming. They offer only inside seating. Full table...
