Arizona Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Visited this place thinking let's try somewhere different. Big mistake! I ordered sweet and sour chicken and rice to be shared between me and my lil one. Pretty basic item for a Chinese restaurant to make. It was merely OK. The sauce was kind of pasty and the chicken while it had been tossed in the sauce still offered no flavor.

My husband had the orange chicken which had the same issue except his sauce had a mettalic strange taste to it and the chicken was horrible. He asked the waitress for and exchange which she was nice to comply and brought him sweet and sour wings. Again the breaded wing had no flavor and relied totally on the red paste sauce to add the flavor. Other Patrons seemed to enjoy there portions and they do give a whooping mound of food. Ok my family has been coming here for years, my parents & in laws like it a lot. Me well I'm ok with it, it's hit or miss. I've had better. It's basically Mexican Chinese food. There family meals portions are pretty big & will feed a family of 5 & there rice is good & there Chop Chuy I enjoy. And it's clean inside. Everything else is just decent nothing special. If your on a budget It's a good place to go I guess if your near bye & you got a big family to feed, cuz there prices are affordable.

I usually come here to bring my in laws food or when I take my parents out to eat cuz they like it. As for me, to be honest I rather eat Panda Express for Chinese food then come here at least they give free refills on drinks at Panda Express cuz they don't here...

The worst egg rolls ever. They were fried almost burned and drenched in oil. I let the waitress know in a friendly way and she got upset. I'm not a picky eater but this egg rolls made me nauseous. No one in our party ate the egg rolls. I've been coming here for almost 30 years and never had I complained about food but today those egg rolls were really, really bad tasting. I spoke to the manager and he seemed indifferent. He said the egg rolls are made as always and couldn't do anything about it. It made me kind of upset the way he handled the situation like I said we've been coming here for at least 30 years and he couldn't offer to change them for something else or at least an apology. I would've been ok...
