This is base on my experience specifically today 12/15/23 with the manager Juan Meza. I understand that today is the last day of school and everybody is getting pizza for the Christmas party that’s why they are very busy and backed up. I called to place an order and not knowingly it was placed in a different location.(our mistake.) I paid an order in the kiosk for two whole pizza (cheese and pepperoni) at 11:30. (For my son’s Christmas party). Waited in line for 50minutes, and when it was my turn in the window, I was told I cannot get my pizza because I unfortunately placed the order in a different location. The staff, Leonicino told me that If they will give me pizza, I am stealing the pizza from the people who placed an order through the phone. I asked if they can give me my order since I waited for almost one hour already, but they said NO. Instead the manager Juan, asked me to give a refund and hold the line to deal with my issue. This manager handled the situation poorly. The staff were rude as well with the other customers asking if they got their name when they placed the order. This is the first time waiting for almost an hour and not get the 2 boxes of pizzas I ordered from the kiosk. I asked them if they can at least consider it cus it is for the kids and we were already late, but instead they want me to figure out which location we placed our order and gave us the refund. Lesson learned: do not placed an order in the kiosk without calling cus you will wait forever and not get your pizza in this location with the...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal Costco member for over 15 years and have always been satisfied with the service, especially when ordering pizza from the food court. Today, I tried to plan ahead by calling in an order to avoid the usual 40-minute wait, since I had my children with me. However, I was told they no longer accept phone orders for fewer than five pizzas—if you need less than five, you must order in person and wait.
When I arrived at the food court, they told me that if I wanted five pizzas, the wait would be over 30 minutes or more. If I wanted fewer than five, the wait would still be around 20 minutes. I had no choice but to take only four pizzas, as I couldn’t wait that long with three young children. They didn’t offer to return the money for the fifth pizza, and no solution or apology was provided.
While I was speaking on the phone about the situation, one of the staff members overheard me and decided to give me all five pizzas—but with a noticeably bad attitude, as if doing me a favor. It felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Unfortunately, customer service was disappointing. The staff seemed frustrated and unhelpful throughout the interaction. I truly hope Costco takes this feedback seriously—families trying to plan ahead and avoid long waits deserve respectful treatment and clear...
Read moreHad to call multiple times to get ahold of the food court. Once I connected, I placed an order for two pizzas and was told that it will be an hour wait. That was no biggie because I had time.
The problem came when I went to go pick up the order. I had to wait in line to pay (30 minute wait btw) for the pizzas and was told that my pizzas were given away since I didn’t come within the hour. Next, they said that it was an oven issue so they were backed up to which I said that I called roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes ago so how long does it take to make a pizza. It doesn’t seem fair to be giving away pizzas when people called ahead to place an order and have to wait in the same line where other customers are making...
