I was at Andale Restaurant several years ago and thought my friends and I would have some lunch. I've never been and neither have they. We sat in the patio area for couple minutes and then a couple more minutes hoping to see a server stop by and offer us drinks first prior to ordering. Still no server action, so we left. From what I recall, there were 2 other people at the bar when we arrived.

On same note, my adult daughter and her girlfriends went out on a Friday or Saturday night sometime last summer and then went back again the following weekend and loved everything about their night out at Andale. Music was lit with 80s jam, drinks were on point and they had good old fashion fun. I believe they went a few times more and somehow after that, their outings had died out.

So, back to my story again .... This past Wednesday my friends and I felt the need to decompress and shake off all the jeebie -weebies after attending a viewing that evening (my friend's father's viewing). Andale came to mind...it was open and it was just down the street from Glen Abbey. What a few drinks was for starters, the group ended racking up a $230 tab.

There was party of 8-10 persons sitting at the reserved long table next to bar area. There were a couple more people sitting at the bar, while a few others were on stage karaoking and/or dancing.

We liked it so much, we came back to Andale for part 2 !

Our experience at Andale was a good one. I hope, if you do try them out, that you will have jnothing but positive reviews to share. We plan to return for...

This area in general is sleepy Bonita at night so it's hard to establish a long lasting bar full of entertainment in the first place so 5 stars for even trying to get this thing going (again, and again and again) I'm just happy I had a local option. That being said, I walk in, my beer I like had the keg out, the next hazy was flat, the margarita I switched my flat beer to didn't taste good (however the managers margarita is awesome, I would only ask for him to make yours) Suddenly a beautiful lady sits next to me and finally I think I'm about to meet someone for dating and the bar manager steps right between us, has a long conversation, scoops up her phone number and at that point... I was asking for my bill to never return. I really hope this bar survives, it has a long way to go and the apartments across the street complaining about bass in the music is not helping this bar party a Lil. Headed to downtown Chula .... or the new bars in...

Went to a Hunkomania strip party for a bachelorette. There were 5-6 other bachelorettes there too. My party of 6 dropped almost $400 after tip.

Before I say this, the staff were very awesome and the one star is not about them, but:

The drinks were VERY watered down. We didn’t have a buzz after having multiple drinks. I had 3 martinis that were mostly olive juice- couldn’t taste the vodka at all.

One of our guests had straight whiskey and said that was even watered down.

To the owner: get it together. You probably made thousands off of this event and made your staff pour us watered down...

We ordered the ceviche tower, pulpo asado and grilled shrimp tacos. Everything tasted okay. The salsa that came with the tacos had really good flavor and some heat. We had shock tops on draft and they were good. They should of had the Padres game on which would of been nice. But we did come when they opened at 4pm so it might be a better overall experience coming at night.
